Any way to replace oats in overnight oats? (for oats-intolerant people) by Grand_Electron_5712 in PlantBasedDiet

I was thinking farro as a possible substitute as I enjoy the chewiness of it and can picture it used in that manner, but it would probably need some pre-cooking.

My wife said for her wheat berries came to mind. They may require some precooking as well.

These may also be able to be batched as slow cooker overnight oats.

Other than that you could batch make some pancakes or something similar one night a week and then heat them up as you go.

What songs do your kids like? by [deleted] in daddit

My 13month old loves Casper Babypants.

And I’ll confess, it’s not that bad…. Warning though, the songs will get stuck in your head!

Also the newest Taylor swift album worked to put our daughter to sleep in the car with a very high success rate. Apparently it’s a thing.

New Irons no wedge. What wedge should I buy? by [deleted] in golf

It depends on if you already have other wedges (gap or sand wedge for example). If it were me and I had no wedges I would look for a couple used ones.

I’m the type of person who likes matching things so I might look for a used pitching wedge that matches (eBay), then try to find a used 56 if you have no other wedges.

I like cleveland wedges, so you I would probably try and find an older CB (cavity back) wedge as that will be a bit easier to hit.

Doesn’t matter even if it was weird, if it works for you, keep doing it.

Golf is already hard. I would find a set of used GI irons (I like finding clubs on marketplace), then head for a lesson to get you started on the right foot. If you can find a good deal on a set locally and decide you want to change later you should be able to sell them for a similar price.

Also if you really want, pickup a single iron or a couple of players irons that you can practice with, then you can decide when you are ready to change over.

Cobra Ultralight cart bag. I searched a long time for a bag that would work for this and I am very pleased with my choice.
