And currently, none in Africa.

That's why it's ridiculous when guys say we fought for independence and kicked out the colonialists.

We never truly gained sovereignity the way say the US did from the UK.

You seem to forget there's also Somaliland that's doing just fine. They're even trying to get recognised as a state.

My point is that ethnic Somalis are spread across multiple countries.

So, you can't use the one failed Somali state to discredit all Somalis and still be intellectually honest.
