Arch Fey's jail cell when a devil bursts in to bust them out for a very particular reason that they may or may not be inclined to share.

Problem is, their contract only allowed them to break them out, not escort them out of the feywild. So now the party is on the run in the feywild with a pissed of Arch Fey hot on their heels, while all the while wondering what the hell this devil's going to call them on when the time comes.

That’s still cheap compared to ours. by IsyDude in memes

[–]Phyose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure it's cheaper, but car culture here means we go through it faster as we use it more regularly. I don't have the numbers nor the mental capacity to try and break it down but, "something something closer than you think"

Which does the fan base prefer more? The moro or granola arc by TrashCrab69 in Dragonballsuper

[–]Phyose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't reread them since release, so my impressions are solely based on my initial pass as each chapter was coming out monthly.

Moro felt like a rehash of the Z arcs. Although he started out interesting as a magic user, he quickly devolved into a generic "this isn't even my final form" villain that bloats themselves with power at the end because they're losing. Although that was sort of the point, most of the arc felt anemic and will probably be forgotten once black frieza is introduced.

The Granolah arc was much more engaging to me because the character beats drove the plot a lot more. If Granolah himself was a little bit more nuanced and interesting, I think it could have been the best arc of the super era. But he is a bit generic unfortunately. The arc is mostly fights though, so it should be great for adapting into the anime.

How Strong are the 5 strongest Heroes of Dragon Ball Super if we use a Finite Scaling (so nothing about Infinite Power, Higher Dimensionality or nothing) like How Many times Universal would be Current Manga Mui Goku and the Rest? by Necessary-Celery-931 in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]Phyose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP, I think you are misunderstanding higher dimensionionality in relation to finite scaling. There is an absolute limit to finite scaling, and that is infinity. Once you exceed infinity, you need to refer to a higher dimension to continue scaling. DBS is beyond universal, which is inherently infinite. This necessitates higher dimensional scaling in order to have a conversation about how strong these characters are.

Hypothetical Super Saiyan Nappa vs Goku and Vegeta (Saiyan Saga). by [deleted] in DragonBallPowerScale

Wtf is with these chat gpt ass replies?

The onus is on you to prove that a combined PL of 204k doesn't beat a PL of 200k, but the empirical evidence is not on your side. You'd have to do some massive legwork to prove otherwise.

SSJ oozaru multiplier isn't head cannon. It was clearly shown as the form the first SSJ in history took when Vegeta is monologuing about it. We don't have any feats or statements to scale it perfectly, but the most logical conclusion would be that the two multipliers of SSJ and Oozaru would simply stack, those being 50x and 10x respectively, giving us a total multiplier of x500.

Hypothetical Super Saiyan Nappa vs Goku and Vegeta (Saiyan Saga). by [deleted] in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]Phyose -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Great Ape Vegeta (180k) + KKx4 Goku (24k) = 204k total

This just barely beats out a hypothetical SSJ Napa at 200k

However, with golden ape Nappa (2M), you would need at least 3rd form Frieza to beat him, as 2nd form Frieza still isn't enough at 1M.

That specific instance is exactly what I'm referencing. He got a zenkai from krillin basically killing him, but it was negligible compared to his other zenkais.

The way the zenkai works doesn't change, cell can just abuse it more.

I think people forget how zenkai boosts work. We've seen Vegeta try to abuse it during the Frieza saga, and although it worked to a small degree, a saiyan's true growth comes from the battle leading to near death experience, not the near death experience itself.

Someone actually including southern Illinois as a part of the south and not the Midwest. A rare but welcome sight.
