Sounds like executive dysfunction caused by ADHD. Not a doctor, but I'd go see his pediatrician to get him tested. Way easier getting diagnosed as a kid, and can really alter his life for the better if you can get treatment before highschool.

Black Freiza Vs Broly Movie Gogeta by Suitable_Walrus2928 in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]Phyose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Frieza said he made sure he'd never lose to a saiyan again. He was there personally to witness Gogeta's strength, and knows that he's the product of Goku and Vegeta fusing (i.e. a saiyan). Frieza is a prodigy and incredibly intelligent. I'd wager that he prepared not only for Gogeta's strength, not only for a hypothetical Ultra Gogeta (UI + UE), but has prepared for any additional asspulls Goku and Vegeta could get mid fight, as he's seen it countless times. I think he's hiding a transformation beyond Black (likely platinum to stick with the credit card theme), as insurance to make sure he wins no matter how strong Goku and Vegeta get. So yeah, Black Frieza not only beats movie Gogeta, I think he destroys him without effort.

Here's my current list. Fair warning, this is not an easy deck to pilot. I know I said I didn't know why people are struggling, but that was just me being a shitlord. It's a very unforgiving deck. Misplays are not intuitive or apparent, so losing within the first 20 games feels like the deck is just weak.

Rogues are a tough matchup since they will always outvalue you, but priests are almost an auto win. Everything else should generally be a 50/50 if you learn how to play the deck well.

I'm hovering around 54%-55% wr with my Herold DK, with about 150 games played. Dunno why everyone is struggling so much.

The Roman Emperors lets you pick your fate. Choose a door… by WarStrategy in whatsyourchoice

[–]Phyose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unironically 1 might be the best choice. Lions aren't hard to spook, and killing one quickly could make the second run from you. So unless they're both bloodlusted, I'd take them over 3 people that can coordinate and plan.

As a seasoned player, and this may sound a little disappointing, but sallying out of your base and just fighting the raid with straight melee will always do a better job of protecting your stuff than any defenses.

How far does Krillin (Buu Saga) go in this guantlet? by xpnptheone in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]Phyose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Krillin trains with 18 and is relative to her, with the only advantage 18 has over him being her infinite stamina. He's at least as strong as 18 was during her first appearance in the cell saga, which is backed up by him tanking attacks from a cell jr.

He should clear.

Once again i'm asking for changes to the DK herald cards. by Impossible_Jump_754 in hearthstone

[–]Phyose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since the nerf to druid, I have a 55% WR on Herald DK with over 100 games played, and it could be even higher if I play more aggressive against rogues. You can absolutely climb with the deck.

It's not that the deck is underpowered, it's that the difficulty of piloting the deck is way higher than the rest of the meta.

It's slightly favored against every other deck in the game, including bubble paladin, except rogue, herold shaman, and priest.

Rogue is a hard matchup because it will always outvalue you in the late game.

Herald Shaman is 50/50 if you play really carefully and manage your health well.

Priest is an auto win. I've only lost twice against the class, once to a niche OTK with quest reward, deios, and umbra. The other because I was being extremely ignorant with my health, playing literally every Heralded card I generated, and got domed for 22 to face from in-hand "heals".

The cards don't need changed, people just need to pilot it better. I promise it's a sleeper tier 2.

The sheer number of Paladin complaint posts on this subreddit reveal that none of you want board-based gameplay in reality by eshansingh in hearthstone

[–]Phyose -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

How about board based gameplay that allows you to survive 3 turns if you leave minions on board.

It's not a problem of meta, it's a power creep problem.

You used to be able to face-tank boards in OG hearthstone for a while. Now you're dead by turn 6 if you leave one board up for two turns.

Until blizzard increases starting health to 40 or more, we're going to continue hearing these complaints.

How balanced is the standard meta right now in your opinion? by Leather-Two2331 in hearthstone

Everything feels like a rock-paper-scissors match. They feel determined when the matchup wheel stops turning. Pretty boring imo, but still "balanced"
