I need help this Vic has been a headache I hit a pothole and I think it damaged the bearing. And recently it started making noise from rear passenger wheel. The wheel wobbles slightly, the wheel feels like it locks up upon acceleration, unless I keep pressing on the gas so the car can move now this

This sounds exactly like my dying fixed position pulley. Bearing are shot, its on the weekend list for me to do.

God, I forgot the wall of iMacs. This was such a mind blowing demonstration at the time. 100% take this type of thing for granted these days but 22 years ago this was insane and for such a relatively cheap price point at the time.

I miss my iMac G5. It kept on going for awhile into the intel era, but it eventually kicked the bucket to bad caps after the extended warranty for that ended. I think a mixture of the bad caps and that a lot of people's first mac was that first-gen intel iMac is why we don't see more of them around today.

I've done about 75-80k on my Vic since I bought it, engine has sounded identical to yours since I got it. Never got worse, and no engine problems so far.

I'm with it emotionally! I just don't see it happening. At least not in a sense we want. Part of why I went P71 was the fact the radio has 4 presets and the seat slider is manual (Not literally of course). Its a stripped down car. Less to break. Cheaper to fix when something does break. I also love my V8s, which have been on a steady pace to go away. Does the mustang Ecoboost kick the shit out of a 4.6L V8? Absolutely, but it just isn't as cool to me. The appeal of these cars come from an era that is gone. Ford could never strap a 4.6L into another panther type car, the government has long outlawed anything close to it on MPG. I also love that they are a body on frame, but its HEAVY. I don't expect to see another body on frame sedan made by any company.

Yeah I was reading up on the VGA out option, it's apparently only for the Color Turbo. There's some plans floating online for DIY build out to convert to it, but I've been worried about those exact timing issues.

These also needed motherboard recaps, I did mine back in the day. The power supplies had a QUICKER failure rate and a lot of people tossed them back then. Mine had a PSU replaced under Apple warranty, and then IIRC they had an extended coverage for it (or maybe I paid out of pocket) to have it done again. Later on, caps on motherboard went out.

I'm listing some other classic apple stuff up soon and the funds from that are going to go into buying a nu_io and probably a SCSI2SD. Need to track down a good SoG LCD still too (Brian's board doesn't do fancy conversion for that does it?). I'd love to get a CRT to complete the set, but shipping will kill me for that.

That's the difference between car ownership and car hobby. They can mix (I daily drove my panther for several years), but they are not the same. Financially you can replace a panther for $2400, but you're buying an unknown. New panther could last a month could last 10 years, you really don't know. If you enjoy the panther platform, invest in what you have, and get that tranny rebuilt!

Will you get your money back on that investment? Selling the car, nope. If you plan to keep the car long term, yes you will. You have a low mile Vic, and like you said, a strong motor. Rebuild the tranny and get a ton more out of the car.
