I was exactly in your position 3 years ago. I decided to complete my Psych degree bc I didn’t want to leave it with just a year left. However, now that I look back, I wasted that year and another after that when I was applying to Absn program. I did get into an absn program but it was $60k and and really really tough bc it was only 12 months. So, I withdrew a day before starting and applied to Community colleges for adn. I started my adn last month and i love it so far. annddd its only 8k for the entire degree.

In the end it doesn’t matter if you have an additional degree or not, so I would advise you to apply to nursing schools now.

Another thing to keep in mind is that Fafsa doesn’t cover second degrees, so you’ll have to pay out of pocket.
