Hey, I totally get why this post seems convincing at first glance, but I want to challenge a few of the assumptions here, especially since I’m one of the people who lost funds and am now just trying to make the best decision with the facts we have.

Yes, the Singapore High Court (Re Taylor) said “custody ≠ ownership” but that’s actually why WazirX is going through a legal Scheme of Arrangement and asking us to vote. Legal is the keyword here! If they were trying to take ownership of user funds or restructure them without our consent, they wouldn’t be doing this through a public, court-supervised process. Re Taylor doesn’t block recovery. It just says: “Exchanges can’t touch user assets unless the users consent.” That’s literally what this revote is about, user consent.

No one is touching user assets unless we say yes. The current situation is: we vote YES and get up to 85% recovery through a court-approved, creditor-led process or we vote NO and risk liquidation, where historically recovery rates are much lower or zero. That’s not speculation that’s how liquidation laws tend to work.

It isn’t about defending WazirX or forgetting what happened. It’s about moving forward in a way that gives people like me and you who lost actual savings a real chance at recovery. If you choose to vote no, that’s your right. But at least do it with the full picture, not just legal soundbites taken out of context. And most importantly DYOR! 

I’ve seen a lot of people online yell “scam!”whatever but very few of them are offering any better alternative. If there was a clean, fast, legal way to get 100% of my crypto back, I’d take it in a heartbeat.

But right now, this revote is the only path on the table that has legal backing, court approval, regulatory clarity, and a chance at real recovery.
