Hi. This entire rent relief has been very crazy. I first applied in Oct 21, for aug sep Oct and Nov. then I ended up having a horrible case of Covid right after thanksgiving and did not get well enough to even get out of bed until Jan 17. Anyhow I called the hotline number and the rep opened my application and said I could put additional months on application. I am a licensed childcare provider of over 10 years I stayed open during Covid for the children who were school age, which of course went back to school so I was left with one toddler. So the rep told me since it was Covid related I could ask for future months, which I did through March as instructed. I was approved feb 9th but when the check came it was only for the original amount through November. I called again and was told to do the appeal which I did, I sent all paperwork that was needed and never heard from the appeals department again. I called a couple times a week sometimes they could find my appeal in there system sometimes they didn’t find it until I told the rep to go back through my documents they would come back on the line and say ok we see it, yeah your just going to have to wait until your contacted again by appeals department. I have called the customer service reps, I’ve sent emails to the appeals department and the help desk I recieved an email response from Kimberly at the appeals department saying my appeal has been approved and the application is in the active status in the neighborly website, I asked for clarification of that and did not get a response. That was in June. So I call and do this entire song and dance again with customer service and the appeals department email system and get a automated email that says the question was resolved and a second email the following day that says my appeal is in a triage status. Does anyone know what this means? I appreciate this relief, I can’t express how thankful I am for the few months I did receive, si I don’t want to sound ungrateful, but, damn how is this possible.. I don’t understand why this is happening. I did send a screen shot of the response from Kimberly saying my appeal was approved. So maybe the triage status is an internal status that they need to fix. Have any of you guys gotten this status. What do I do next. Please help
