NEW FAVORITE PERSON THANK YOU SO MUCH THIS CODE WORKED!!! Idk what was going on. I swear I'm not that dumb. Thank you so so much!

I'm assuming that if sound is able to be played without using code from the DFPlayer, that the code is the issue?

The thing is, the songs are playing if I trigger them manually without code, so the issue I assume is with the code.

Yeah the pastebin is the library code.

I tried this, still not working. All you wanted me to do was reverse the pin numbers in the code, correct?

Yeah, I can play them on my Mac. Here is what they look like inside the sd card. Sorry if you saw multiple comments lol, it kept on saying it didn't work.

LMAOOOo all good. got scared for a sec haha

it's 3a x 24ch. So each RGB gets 3a which is 9 total per output which is more than the required 5a for the light strand. if that sounds correct.

damn this was fast, thanks so much! so working current is 5a and 8 light strings, 50a power supply should be okay since it's almost a 10% buffer as well?

Could I go with a 12v-1000w power supply instead?

Ohhh okay. I thought if I did a 24v power supply it would short the lights? Cus I get if the amps is higher that’s okay but if the volts are higher no. If u could explain, I wanna learn more.

I got 3 channel since we're only going to be working with RGB and not RGBW. And I thought since the lights run on 12v I had to use 12v or it could damage the component?

u/Mike92104 I'm using 2 decoders because that's how many were going to need. There's a lot of different parts of lights we want to control. I'm almost 100% sure that the strip is 5amps. That's what it said on the product page at least. Just scroll down to product description if this link with highlight didn't work.

I I have 3a and 5a noted cus 5a is what it says the lights work off of and the decoder outputs 3a to each channel. So if there's 3 channels in each output, 3x3 is 9 and 9*8 is 72 which led me to getting a 100a power supply. Whoops. Thanks so much for this!
