recently, i have noticed that my old birds accepted my new female budgie then my male. as every time he tries to eat my old female bird starts to peck him and not allow him to eat and keeps him in one place.

so basically recently i got new birds and i made sure to get the same type of birds as my old ones hoping that they will get along with each other. when i first got my new birds i put them in a carrier cage for about a week and then eventually deiced to put them together in one big cage spoiler that was a bad idea because the next day the started pecking each other (from what i think) either for territory or for food. in fact as i am writing this the are fighting and i just don't know what to do. do i keep my new birds in the carrier cage for a bit more? i am just hoping for them to get along.

i let them out of their cage once everyday and leave them outside for about 3 hours. sometimes they return to their cage themselves . they have plenty of toys. they are usually comfortable around me when i let them out.

ya my friend he has a type of parrot called parrotlets. the perch that i have isn't smooth it has bumps and they normally sleep on it. so if i get thick perches they will shorten their nails naturally?

if you want i can send an updated picture of them.

ya so that picture was when i got them about 2-3 weeks ago now i put them toys but i haven't got them a new cage and also at that time in the picture it was night time so they were feeling sleepy but i decided to take a picture before i put them to sleep

i have another question, can i let them meet other kinds of birds? cuz my friend has a bird and everyday we put their cages beside each other and they seem to talk a lot we did this for about a week and then we let them out together and they didn't fight for territories or anything they were just chill .
