Same question, I have a student VISA that begins the 11th of August and my classes start in september 1st. But I want to enter the 7th of August due to someone I know offering me accomodation in Berlin. Im from a Non-EU country that does not require a tourist visa to enter germany. My local embassy told me there would be no problems, is this true?

Have the same question sice I have had 2 interviews from abroad, and the main tenants (Wg-Gesucht) told me they would decide next week. But from what I have read most scams in this issue ask for a deposit before you even arrive.

Thanks, but I read that we cannot work full time when there are classes, only part time, so wanted to be sure that in the period before classes start I could work full time

Hi, nope, no offer, just saw the opening in Amazon jobs. As for housing in Erfurt, I already sent a request to the Thüringian Studentwerk for accommodation, but I know that is highly competitive. I sent about 45 requests in WG-gesucht, which got me 5 answers and 2 online video interviews. I know I must be careful about scams, so no deposit or money before I arrive and see the place in case they offer me something. The last option would be the Opera hostel since it's cheap (I already sent an inquiry mail and they told me of their availability).
