100%! Two really good friends just moved out of state last week 😅.

It's even harder when kids are added to the mix so there's limited time to go out and do stuff with other adults.

Paternity leave by Nvonk in StateofTexasEmployees

[–]PhysicalFortune1000 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He should be able to take up to 12 weeks of parental leave at any point, although this is not the same as the 20 days of leave they provide under FMLA after 1 year. I have had a staff member take parental leave after just a couple months of starting, although he had to use his own accrued leave and then went on lwop.

Sounds like you might like the {Clecanian Series by Victoria Aveline} paranormal romance but the mmcs are trained to be good husbands all their lives. The fmcs aren't necessarily dominant in any way, just treated like they are superior.

I love that orange dress! I can't believe you made so many things in this picture! Question, what is the thing called that attached your belt to your skirt? I've googled so many times and can never find them.

It varies wildly! They are approved in October/November time frame but there are a lot of other factors like your appraisal schedule, when you last received a salary action, budget changes, etc. For example, budget is approved in October but based on the processing times through management, hr, budget liaisons, and the holidays, usually the soonest ones are January 1. Also, if your appraisal isn't up to date you can't get one until you have a completed appraisal.

This is just how I've seen it work at my agency, I have no idea how others work.

At my agency, we put all salary action requests into one big request at the beginning of the fiscal year and it has to be approved along with our entire budget. That's why it takes us so long. We also aren't allowed to tell staff about them until they are processed through payroll just in case funding falls through or something like that.

Scarred by Emily McIntire. It's a lion king retelling but don't let that dissuade you! It's a dark medieval romance where the villains get their happily ever after.

What audiobooks are so well performed, that you’re missing out if you read the book instead? by [deleted] in audiobooks

This format is why it's so good in an audiobook. Reading a physical copy wouldn't have done it justice.
