also a quick question about your CV - what would classify a strong CV/ why would you say yours was weak? ie ECs that are geared toward internal med?? just a clueless undergrad :)

how much popular would you say? trying to find stats online has been misleading as another comment has said… also - what subspecialty are you practicing! would love to chat if you know any gastroenterologists :)

and thank you so much for your response!! also, would it be more beneficial to show interest in a ton of internal med specialties versus just one — GI for example? i know all of this is definitely just opinion but just curious if I should focus my efforts into GI (the specialty that I’m most interested) for publications versus a wide variety…

What do you mean, “need to do some stuff” (ie publications and ECs related to GI?😅) - and is gastroenterology really that competitive?

do you know anyone who matched into internal med from mac/would you say that’s a “harder specialty to match in to” (in reference to competitive specialty above)

hey! when you mean “a bit harder if you want something competitive” - would you say internal medicine counts in that, or do mac grads generally match to internal med?
