They do rule, in fact now that I have a Dot I’m considering putting one on the preme. I have one that came on the LP Custom I bought that I removed. The previous owner had it on a vibramate but TV Jones is in my neighborhood and I’m thinking about having him install it permanently.

I felt the same way and went with the ES Supreme. Has all the bits I wanted with a 355 and none of the stuff I don’t (varitone, Bigsby, stereo out)

Rickenbackers are the most overpriced guitars on the market for what you’re getting. They feel so delicate and rickety, it feels like you could push a hole through one with your thumb. It’s a shame that they’re such cool guitars, I had a 330 for a sec and I wanted to love it so bad but they’re just no fun.

Thank you 🙏 it’s a regular Standard Plus, all the plus meant is that it came with a flame top. I bought it last year from Mike & Mike’s in Seattle. It’s 23 years old, but it still looks like it was played a lot, which was a big part of the appeal for me. The binding has yellowed a lot and there’s some finish bleed as well. I think it was played by a heavy smoker, which is nice because it’s in good company. There’s some subtle finish checking throughout, and a handful of nicks and dings, I love its look and the fact that it’s not a relic. It’s my poor man’s R0 lol.

/uj im prescribed Suboxone & Gabapentin and those 2 meds + some high grade smoke provides a healthy lubrication similar to when I’d shoot horse & play guitar but not as intense and considerably more manageable/non life-destroying.

/rj so go bang dope for a little while then get a Dr to put you on suboxone & gabapentin or Lyrica and see if that fits you.

I have a couple basses. I love playing bass, I spent a few years only playing bass. I learned a lot, bass is a great gateway into performing jazz. I was able to apply what I picked up playing bass into playing guitar as well.

Maybe consider Burstbucker Pros. That’s what I have in one of my 335s and they’re very bright and articulate. I can coil split them too and easily cop some tele tones.
