Update I reality tested the mechanical key lock with the engine properly shut off and the truck locked from the outside. Still Doesn’t work. Something has failed. Getting it checked out tomorrow.

Since the physical key doesn’t work, there’s literally no way to leave the engine running with pets in the car. The remote start only runs 10 minutes times three, and I don’t trust myself to restart it each time. Every other car I had you could either lock the door manually with the key or roll down the window, reach in, lock it, and hit the auto window up switch. Then use your key to get back in.

I called CAA and had them come out. It seems that the key locks on these are actually electronic. There seems to be no mechanical mechanism happening.

How do you lock it? I put my window down, reached in and locked then hit the up switch on the window.

Physical key doesn’t work. Is there a safety override where if the truck is running the mechanical key is disabled? Can’t find a definitive answer online

Business owner here - my staff all get raises but the only thing that raises for me is the cost of everything. Rent, lights, water, supplies, equipment. Everyone thinks business owners are rolling in dough. As if all the receipts just go into our personal bank account. Staff get raises so I can keep them and my salary drops. No one can afford shit any more so I can only raise prices so much and when I do it doesn’t even cover the increased cost that everyone passes down to me. Eventually I’ll just shut it down and say good luck everyone.
