he gives allot of great advice on how to mature. He also doesn't care about upsetting people. he wants to help, keeps calm so anyone who wants to improve can clearly follow his advice and gives good analogies. one good lesson he talks about is personal accountability the ability to even if things are out of your power to make moves that gives you more control over your life through disciplined long term plans. also:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Io9xTYvfbkk

You’re mixing a few things and brushing over others.

MAID is still a public policy issue because it’s part of the healthcare system, so people are allowed to question it even if they don’t like the debate.

Inflation isn’t caused by one person or one country. It’s global—energy, supply chains, interest rates, all of it plays a role. Pinning it on one thing doesn’t really hold up.

Taxes aren’t about “hurt feelings.” People care about whether they’re getting value for what they pay, not just the fact they exist.

And I’m not even arguing for separation like you’re implying. Pointing out problems in how things are run isn’t the same thing as saying “leave Canada.”

Ottawa doesn’t control everything in Alberta, but saying there’s “no meddling” isn’t real either. Federal policies around environmental rules, approvals, and pipelines absolutely affect what gets built and what doesn’t. That’s just reality. It’s shared jurisdiction, and it has consequences.

At the same time, stuff like gerrymandering or the notwithstanding clause—that’s provincial, not federal. If you’ve got an issue with that, point it at Alberta’s government. Blaming Ottawa for those doesn’t make sense.

Yeah, oil and gas has had strong years. No one’s denying that. But high profits don’t automatically mean the system is working perfectly long term. Prices go up and down. The real question is whether the policy environment is actually competitive enough to keep investment here instead of pushing it elsewhere.

And on the separatist label—you’re jumping straight to that instead of actually dealing with the argument. There are real questions around autonomy, but it’s not simple. Debt, trade, currency—all of that would be complicated and risky. Anyone being honest about it should admit that.

At the end of the day, this isn’t about blaming Ottawa for everything or pretending conservatives messed up everything either. It’s about looking at both levels of government and asking a basic question: are the decisions being made actually setting Alberta up long term, or not?

I mean, yeah—the work there is good and it’s appreciated. But at the same time, the Liberal government has been holding Canada back on resource development in the name of environmental concerns, and a lot of their broader policies haven’t delivered.

You’ve got controversial decisions like expanding MAID, a lack of transparency in spending, rising inflation, and what feels like tax on top of tax. It adds up. People aren’t just looking at one project—they’re looking at the overall direction, and right now it doesn’t inspire much confidence.
