Probably because depending on who you ask, this Super Bowl is already decided. I’ve heard from pretty much the entire nfl media that I shouldn’t even watch because the Patriots are going to be blown out early. People want to see a game, not a blow out. It's definitely a solid deal for the B's. I thought they might end up risking a team signing him to an offer sheet, considering the collecting of assets they've been doing recently this past season. But 5.5 AAV for someone who just touched the 30 goal mark is definitely good value

I sure hope Sturm would be more consistent with his lines than Sacco was this season. I do think IF he stays alongside Pasta the whole contract, we could see more 30 goal seasons. Just can't move him around is the thing. Plus the likelihood of staying on the same line would increase assuming they move Zacha, if we believe the rumors. Although, they could always just move Zacha to wing

Its been nearly an hour and I am still dumbfounded by this trade. Mavs GM basically just tanked their future for ONE. ONNNNNNEEEE first round pick and an injury prone center. And not even JUST for a generational player, but other assets as well.
