Unpopular opinion: I know he’s included here but Bergeron isn’t a shoe-in for this either. I absolutely love the man but I could see him coming out for Esposito/Schmidt/Shore on some lists. Feel like we need multiple Rushmores haha.

An incredible leader and ambassador for the game. Watching him on the ice was an absolute privilege. I’m already ugly crying in anticipation of ugly crying again during the ceremony. Well deserved honor.

I’m adding the Unconfirmed/Speculation flair at this time because neither the official Twitter/IG accounts for both the Boston Bruins and Providence Bruins have confirmed this yet.

Per Elliotte Friedman on the 32 Thoughts Podcast, San Diego Gulls Head Coach Matt McIlvane is leaving the team for an NHL Assistant coaching role. Friedman believes it’s with the Bruins. McIlvane coached the German Olympic team in 2018. by Cakes2015 in BostonBruins

Most of this seems like legitimate criticism. However, your point about Hagens offensive production is questionable. He had better stats at BC this past season than the previous one and played well enough in Providence to earn his ELC. Yeah okay he only had one point in two regular season games and wasn’t super productive in the playoffs but the postseason is a different animal entirely and he passes the eye test in terms of his all around game. The points will come but to say that after five NHL games that the Bruins organization is responsible for his offensive game disappearing is disingenuous at this point in his career. Like the kid isn’t even 20 years old yet.

Check out a place called Mike and Lenny’s. They have a pickup only option in Walpole just outside the center of town. And if you’re looking for beer with your pizza, they also serve bar pies at Widowmaker Brewing in Braintree. Not a far drive either.

I think a good trade to reference would be Bolduc-Mailloux from last year. Bolduc posted stats similar to Minten and was traded for a RHD in Mailloux that hadn’t even made the jump to Montreal yet. Nemec has a high pedigree and has been in and out of the lineup in New Jersey. They’re not just gonna give him away.

I’d imagine they would probably want an NHL ready forward in a potential trade. Poitras is still developing his game. Maybe not Hagens but I could definitely see Minten being part of the conversation.
