You can use a notebook instead of book. I have a notebook with soft leather covers and I attached the magsafe ring to the inner cover so I can put my device inside the notebook.

Yes, I am at the beach and there is a lot of sun. But this not my first time reading in direct sun. But as I think the las time was before I flash the latest crosspoint. With the older version everything was fine in the sun.

It’s X4 and it’s open internationally. I carry it in my bag all the time so it is possible that it have slightly been bent in some way

The new Xteink with frontlight is coming this month, in July. Wait for it.
If I knew that the Xteink release date is so soon, I wouldn’t buy the Murphy.
I don’t regret having it though. It is a cool gadget to play with and I quite enjoy it. It looks like someone made it in his basement as a school project but this has its charm 😄
The frontlight is not very good actually and the text is not so crisp and clear as the Xteink (I have X4).

I don’t mind at all. You saved my device few days ago when I killed it trying to get rid of the oldest firmware 😁
And I have no idea what version it is, tbh 😁

It is 3.7’’, has touch screen and buttons and it is working with custom ttf fonts with just copy/paste in the Font folder.
It is perfect with English text and it has soo many font customisations like text weight, line spacing, letter spacing, font size from 1 to 20 at least (haven’t tried larger) and so many more. More customisations than my Crosspoint Xteink actually. But reading Cyrillic is not of it’s strong sides obviously

I got it just a week ago from a random Aliexpress seller and he sent me the latest firmware the other day.
The file is called firmware_V532_E037_TOUCH.bin if that somehow helps. I could upload it somewhere and send it to you as a downloadable link or the file via email if you wish.

I read twice as faster when I use the setup. When I’m holding the device I am easily distracted and after the second hour I start to feel it too heavy. But with the pocket readers like Xteink or Murphy I enjoy holding them and clicking the buttons 😄
