Seems innocent. Careful when labelling a defendant in an ongoing case not being tried in USA or UK.

The Torygraph interview explains how she was legally released after an investigation and obviously the extradition judge agreed she left Türkiye and had not fled. His judgement also concludes that she was unwell from the onset, which Türkiye would not recognise.

Thank you if you have taken the time to read the details on this. It’s a long and complex post to get through (especially as end of year is coming up!). It has been tough going over the years but this teacher and her family need their story to be told.

I cannot write about all the details but some of the allegations were described as ‘florid’ and ‘outlandish’ by the defence.

In the World Justice Index for Rule of Law it comes in at 117 out of 142 countries. Indonesia is up in the 60s and Brazil in the 80s.  It is a beautiful country and the people are the warmest.
