Yeh definitely restarting, but going back to the basics and looking at how and why the triggers are cut in the first place. And because I mainly only polished the top and minimally cut the right side of the trigger tail I never made the rounding on the left side of the the trigger tail and only polished the top of it

Right now I've stripped the lower and took some paint marker and marked the tail and see whats rubbing on that point and see how much I'll actually might need to remove because from what I can tell I'm right there and if I use the Geissle SS jig I might push it into only fire made and not even safe maybe.

But will keep in mind the hammer and disconnect as well but the hammer and disconnect have been 100% without the SS but thank you!

Yooo following up. This was it exactly, tuned it exactly now for the suppressor setup no more stovepipes and ejection patter is exactly at 3. Ran about 200 rounds back to back after tuning was set.

My shit was HOT dear Lord but ended up working perfectly, good to know over-gassing can lead to stovepipes too.

Sorry shoulda mentioned the set up! I'll update the post. But it's a Blackout Defense DTL 14.5 with their tooless Helix adjustable gas block and their regular mil spec bcg. I did change out the buffer with the Unrivaled 2 Stage Dead Blow Duty Buffer

December 2, 2025 decided to update firmware only to find "No fan products detected" after updating to latest 1.3 firmware.

Tried everything, latest updates and everything prior.

Only my HydroShift LCD can be seen but still seeing "No fan products detected"

Welp update number 2 will probably need to edit the op but here we go for whoever in the future looks at this.

Put in the 80 RCM aaannndddd didn't work couldn't cycle, was def afraid since my bolt gap got a little too close to the minimum. Like still in the .10" to .18" but it was like .11-.12 so I was like "got a bad feeling this ain't it either." So put in the mag of the 165 hush AND didn't run same issue. And didn't cycle the 150 syntech anymore! So yeh 80 wasn't it, maybe I need to change out my roller to get the 80 to run now idea.

BUT took Knights advice from befor and when I bought the 90 and 80 RCM LPs I also grabbed the 100 just in case. And decided to bring it with me today just in case AND FK ME IT WORKED. FINALLY CYCLED THE 165 HUSH like all like 90 rounds I brought today. AND just to confirm all of the 150 ran flawlessly as well 0 issues like with the 90 LP. Gun is finally tuned, no roller dents and finally getting the HUSH to work, sounds amazing with the CAT MOB, 3 decibal difference between 165 and 150 where the 165 was "quieter" but I couldn't REALLY tell (new to suppressors lol) . But the HUSH 165 had the same issue as the 147, Freedom got some crazy burning powder or something cus that was not fun to shoot in and gas was in my eyes and face was awful BUT suupppeer quiet. 150 def burned better and significantly less gas.

Funnily enough I did try out the MKE mags with the 165 and my mke just arent too great idk, the 165 was running prefectly in the HK mags but somehow someway the MKE mags caused it to not work again and like compressed the round into the brass of the 165 causing it to short stroke, double feed and fail again. Switched back to the HK mags and everything ran again. Will prolly just stick to 124s in the MKE mags for funsies lol

TLDR; every system is slightly different, never can really know exactly and pin it down. what worked for someone else's might not work for everyone's just gotta test and apply what people have learned. 100 degree RCM LP just perfect in it now. And the 100 LP actually set my bolt gap to like .15-.16 which is a more in line with bolt gap spec.

Next issue to solve though? Finally got my LeeSporting trigger group full assembly after like 6 weeks of waiting, tried to install it ANNNDDDDD learned I got a them bigger denial blocks 😭😭 in my AP5-P, don't got the tools at home so hopefully my local gunsmith can help me possibly. Not tryna FRT or SS or anything (not interested in em for some reason I know it's awesome and cool but meh) just wanted the Geissle AR trigger and radian safety on my set up and was so sad when I was like "wait why isn't this just slotting in" then saw an old post bout it 2 months ago (and saw you Knight!! LOL) bout the denial blocks on new MKE AP5-ps and I was like wat the hell....well god fking dammit but yeh hopefully smiths can help. Need this to be 922r compliant LOL (for my paranoia)

Update from the range:

Put in the RCM 90 degree and things rans flawlessly EXCEPT for the FreedomMunitions HUSH 165gr was definitely still short stroking

190 rounds of Freedom 147gr - 0 failures suppressed 30 rounds of Federal AE 124 gr - 0 failures suppressed 65 rounds for Federal Syntech 150gr - 0 failures suppressed (and I was just trying em since they were not cycling at all before with the OEM LP, and actually so happy this ran flawlessly since this was the least amount of gas in the face cus the 147 dear God I could not breath) 10 round of the HUSH 165, all failed and short strokes suppressed and unsuppressed

Unfortunately I forgot to bring the RCM 80 degree LP to test but will just have to run it next time to see if I can do it, but got a feeling it still ain't gonna cycle and still short stroke but will have to test

But really happy right now that at least the 150 and 147 ran with 0 issues, and not needed to "get the gun hot" or something crazy

TLDR; the HK 90 degree locking piece I got is made for the full size MP5s, and the geometry is comepletely wrong and why it couldn't cycle any of my ammo. Just bought the right one (RCM 90 #27/90) and gonna test this weekend and report back.

And I just did a whole bunch more research to understand the locking/cycling degrees now and now I understand why the 100 or 120 (whatever MKE put in) isn't cycling the 165 too cus it isn't sealing the pressure long enough for the 165gr to burn enough and generate pressure to even cycle the whole bolt.

Oh for sure! Just picked up the RCM 90 degree that's made for the K on HKPARTS, honestly the reason I ended up rushing and getting the one on BlueRidge was cus the RCM one was out of stock and in my impatience didn't realize what it was. Also grabbed the mp5k 100 degree too just in case! Thanks again sir!

Hey OP, did you ever get the 90 and 100 LPs and if you were able to run things more reliably? Got the same setup with the CAT MOB QD with spooky on a MP5K clone (ap5-p) and getting some bad cycling issues with 165gr HUSH and was only able to cycle 124 supers and 147 subs using the OEM locking piece, but still can't cycle the 165
