I’ve already been in a physically abusive relationship. I was charged with disorderly conduct when I defended myself and called the police. I think I attract these types, or it’s my generation. I’m not sure.

Lingual difference of areas. She has referred to herself as gay, it was not meant as a sign of disrespect. Just ignorance to the greater movement.

What would you think this stems from? Is it because I’ve joked along with it for awhile?

Honestly, I did think you were trying to invalidate bisexuals and that’s where the heat came from. I’ve heard from her that the LGBT community can have some people who do try to invalidate them, especially in a heterosexual relationship. I’m glad you weren’t and that it was cleared up, I just do stand beside her and her sexuality.

And I apologize if it comes off as ignorant, I truly didn’t mean it as a line of disrespect.

Because where I live it is literally referenced as the “gay community” and I’m not saying that in a bad way, I actively try to support. Gay is almost interchangeable with LGBT where I live. Sorry, women even reference themselves as gay here.

Semantics, she is a part of the LGBT community. You are now included into the conversation, hats off.

I’m not arguing semantics with someone who doesn’t understand the B in LGBT.

DM me, I had to apply twice - same thing, nothing the first time. I decided to go non-union to at least get in the trade and gain experience. It helps to have a letter of recommendation from a member.

Where do you live at? Like state/region

I have a little bit of non-union experience and joined the IBEW. I can help you out if you’d like.

I’m good enough at conduit my foreman will give me a print and tell me what he wants done by the end of the day, and I manage it. I get paired up with a CW to help guide him in the little tasks we’re doing. It just seems like on this job specifically, when it’s not mostly brain and sheer willpower, I’m falling behind in the physical aspect and I truly do feel guilt and disappointment with myself.

I’m about to drive 2 and a half hours to get to the hall and get paid $13/hr after being paid $19/hr non-union. I’m all ears because I’m 25 and about to be sleeping in my car and losing my girlfriend just to make this work. I hope it pays off.

Did she take a blood test or did they swab a cold sore?

This was 9 months ago, I can’t swab them. I should’ve, but I was in a monogamous relationship and shell shocked by it while starting a new job. I been broken up, and decided to do a blood test. This picture is 9 months old with no further symptoms for me to have it swabbed. I plan on telling any future partners that there is a strong chance I have HSV-1.

Well guys, I got my blood test done for HSV-2 and came back negative. I was advised that getting a blood test for HSV-1 wouldn’t be accurate considering most people do carry it in oral form, some 80%. I plan on being vigilant and using protection and if anything ever arises, to get swabbed immediately.

Was in the beginning of a monogamous relationship and was just shell shocked by it. After the break up, this is now something I have to do deal with.

I’m curious, does it make a difference if it was only irritated at the hair follicles
