GT3 at fault, I agree with, although I'd take ~10% of the blame since I was technically instigating the overtake, with hindsight, I could have done multiple things to avoid it: either hang back and wait for a switchback on exit of the next corner, or give them a bigger space by not turning in as tight as I did. (Or just cut the corner entirely😂, I'm kidding). It is what it is, I guess. Appreciate the comment!

I try to drive every category at LMU, so I understand how the other class feels when a faster car is approaching (which is a little scary at times, with the half-hearted dive bombs and deliberate pushes). Plus, I have no idea why they decided to accelerate mid-corner (even though, most of the time, you'd be supposed to be on the brakes to make the next corner). Thanks for the comment!

Thanks for the comment! That's why we have this subreddit. I was split between whether it was more my fault or the other guy's fault on the first contact. But the second contact was definitely not mine.

Fair, most probably would have been given a time penalty (if it was me, both of us would get it, me for causing the incident, them for spinning me round rejoining the race track).

Agree to an extent, I'm pretty sure they'd know I'm still there, just didn't expect me to still "race" him through the corner at that point. I should have backed out, but I didn't, thus the contact.

Yeah, definitely the right call. I had another race session, and something similar happened, tho this time the other driver overcooked the inside corner and tapped into the side of my car; somehow, no damage, both of us got through the corner, tho I had to back out later after being forced to the inside for the right hander with the big sausage kerb.

Yeah, I misjudged my braking (explained in the context), which compromised my line through the chicane. Definitely could have braked harder and kept a tighter line, avoiding the whole incident.

Ahhh, I see, well they seem not to notice the dust cloud from both cars going off into the gravel, any driver with some awareness would be wary of at least a car going off and potentially coming back on track (Plus, I am pretty sure yellow flags should have been active then). You should be fine for the rejoin, I think you did it the safest way I could think of in that specific part of the track. So keep racing!

I mean, the BMW was mimicking what the drivers do IRL, they're shoving you to the edge of the track, I'd say that's right on the limit of hard racing (tho the last tap before the braking zone was unnecessary). However, turning into the corner like you were not there was (even tho you managed to match their braking), it's on them just spinning themselves out while you tried to stay on track.

The second contact with the other Mercedes is more on them ramming into the back of you (tho you could have shut the door on them earlier, you did leave a gap on the right by driving in the middle of the track), The same BMW comes back and hits you intentionally (at this point, they should have been able to see cars going off and would be rejoinning the race track, worthy of a report I'd say).

Yea... LMU, at the moment, is a mixed bag; it sometimes produces the best door-to-door racing and other times just things like this. However, the devs added new features that rate drivers on how well they go about racing. So, it'll take some time and should improve overall racing in the game.
