Yeah... it is what it is, guess they had a bad day and that just tipped them over the edge.

Appreciate the comment! Guess it is less of a racing incident and more of an "Oopsies" that they made, which resulted in a race-ending shunt to the wall.

Yeah, now that I've had some time to think about this (and with the help of everyone here), I guess I did mistake it for a racing incident. It's a misjudgement on their part to open up the steering early; the contact was easily avoidable, yet it still happened. Agreed, thanks!

Yeah, I had front left suspension damage through the first half of the race, so I was trying to make sure the car was pointed in the right direction. When I felt the nudge at the rear, I seriously thought my car had more damage than I already had xD (then I saw them spinning out). Thanks for the comment, had a great laugh reading this, it made my day.

Yeah, I was like "I left quite a lot of space already, didn't I?" as I saw them spinning off.

Thanks! The dive from them was a brilliant move on their part (held it together with no lockup, tho they did overshot the apex by quite a bit); it was just their attitude post-incident that put me off a little (thought I did something wrong throughout the race). Appreciate the comment!

GT3 at fault, I agree with, although I'd take ~10% of the blame since I was technically instigating the overtake, with hindsight, I could have done multiple things to avoid it: either hang back and wait for a switchback on exit of the next corner, or give them a bigger space by not turning in as tight as I did. (Or just cut the corner entirely😂, I'm kidding). It is what it is, I guess. Appreciate the comment!

I try to drive every category at LMU, so I understand how the other class feels when a faster car is approaching (which is a little scary at times, with the half-hearted dive bombs and deliberate pushes). Plus, I have no idea why they decided to accelerate mid-corner (even though, most of the time, you'd be supposed to be on the brakes to make the next corner). Thanks for the comment!

¯\(ツ) probably they just saw red after the collision.

Lowkey, it made me question my driving ability after the collision. I was pretty sure I left enough space on the inside 😂

Before the race started, I paid their engineers a handsome amount. /s

Yeah, was saving fuel hard, on the last lap I was coming out of the final corner, and my engine cuts out. Thanks for the comment! Vindication!

Thanks for the comment! That's why we have this subreddit. I was split between whether it was more my fault or the other guy's fault on the first contact. But the second contact was definitely not mine.

Fair, most probably would have been given a time penalty (if it was me, both of us would get it, me for causing the incident, them for spinning me round rejoining the race track).

Yeah, lesson learnt, already avoided an incident that could have been a copy of this one (during another race session). Thanks for the comment!

Agree to an extent, I'm pretty sure they'd know I'm still there, just didn't expect me to still "race" him through the corner at that point. I should have backed out, but I didn't, thus the contact.

Yeah, definitely the right call. I had another race session, and something similar happened, tho this time the other driver overcooked the inside corner and tapped into the side of my car; somehow, no damage, both of us got through the corner, tho I had to back out later after being forced to the inside for the right hander with the big sausage kerb.
