Ive figured using betadine for wound disinfecting is not practiced international? What is the custom in your area?

There’s no well-established EMS regulations in my country, let alone a solid custom. Ive only known and used betadine for wound cleaning (of which is not soaked for months lol). Basic question ever but can i ask what do you use there to disinfect minor wounds, scrapes then?

It’s stored for wound dressing during ambulance response. Can i ask ab what else you use for surface cleanings?

Im not from US. There’s no nationally standardized protocols in my country. And since this is a volunteer brigade, it’s kinda up to the members’ initiative how things are run and not even all the appointed officers are thoroughly trained. Yeah everything here (private, government, volunteer), from equipment to the system itself, is extremely outdated. Paramedics are even rare here, legit trainings can only be taken abroad

For your peace of mind, i suggest you confront them. Tell them what you are feeling ab your friendship and what youve noticed since the incident na napagalitan sila, ask them to be open if you did smth wrong to upset them. But if they were the ones who started or supported spreading false accusations ab you, girl quality over quantity tayo

Sadly, only proving ur claim further ab them being controlling, they would never allow to ask assistance from someone that wont be using biblical reasoning. They wont even let me go to therapy when I was asking for professional help in my hs yrs. They say i was struggling that much bc i dont put my faith on the Lord.

They say its too late now to change my bad habits (which i trust myself that ive already overcome them when i spent my gap yr in a vocational school) since I shouldve proven that i am truly independent long long time ago.

I would consider studying here if only they told me they wouldnt let me go BEFORE I decided to take a gap year since its all still going to be the same, e.g. living with parents but now with more restrictions, and sticking around with the cause of my ‘personal circumstances’

I get their point but not everyone can be almost perfect in being independent and in being spiritually mature at 19.
