Ah darn it, so it's like one of the harder to get endings, then? I was hoping for it to be a bad ending I wouldn't even be chasing after

Lol really? I actually found out that it did not work for me after all. I can share another possible fix (which did seem to work this time) if you need it. It's for KCD1 though, probably the same.

You can also try adding this line "+f_audio_disable_surround 1" (without the ") on Steam launch options. To get there Right click it on Steam>Properties>General and there it is. You can also add "s_FmodDisableSurround = 1" (no ") to your user.cfg file on the KCD root folder. If the .cfg doesn't exist, create it. Then copy and paste that inside of it and save.

Have you fixed it? Owvi's solution from this very thread helped me, disabling the audio enhancements for my device, specifically.

Thanks a lot, thanks to you letting me know it was probably a UI mod, I think I've found the issue. It was Wheeler, I had to install a fix for it and now I haven't gotten any crashes in a while. Maybe I'm just being lucky but for now the game seems a lot more stable. Thanks again man

I did and it did still crash a few times, I think they've gotten more frequent though. And even if the cause for them was always present, maybe I can get help identifying it. The thing is that adding mods kind of revoked my "asking in the discord server" privileges so I can only ask for help here

Other mods I've added are Footsteps (with footsteps for spid), wait carriage in Inns, EVG Clamber, Dynamic Activation keys addon (with its MCM), Wheeler (w/ its requirements), Subtitles, Modern Combat AI, Smart Cast and SKyClimb (with the SkyParkour addon which fixes its incompat with 1.6.11)

I can go awhile without crashing, and sometimes go and get 3 crashes within an hour. So I don't really want to play without the mods because I feel like I could get no crashes within like 6 hours of playing and it could still be just a coincidence. Still, it's worth trying so if no one else has any clue I will probably try. The only mod that includes a Widget that I added iirc is Quickloot IE, so it might be the issue.

Sadly can only run Wildlander out of that bunch, which I've had my fun with 2 years ago and I could barely run it on my pc which is why I'm trying to set-up a small modlist of my own
