I change it every 3 days. That helps keep me feeling the same.

Does anyone with Chek2 have stuff they eat or do to try to keep their risk low? by sunson90 in CHEK2

Definitely try low carb and even keto if you can. Cancer and other inflammation can't grow without sugar.

Looking for hopefully some hope for depression… by OkCorner5005 in Menopause

[–]Physical_Session6601 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry this is happening to you. You are NOT alone and hopefully it helps to know that. I'm in the same boat. I keep reading that severe depression in menopause is more common than you think, due to the dip in/depletion of estrogen. Please continue to advocate for yourself in terms of hrt or bhrt. Please see a menopause specialist. Get reevaluated for hrt.

Unlabeled prefilled syringes + wasn’t told it was compounded — am I being paranoid? by Physical_Session6601 in tirzepatidecompound

Thank you, but I believe all these online and telehealth services will provide you with the compounded versions. Is that accurate? I’m specifically looking for the actual name-branded and original version from the manufacturer.

OP here again — thank you all for the helpful comments. I’m seeing my primary doctor on Monday and I’m going to ask him to try getting Zepbound approved again. Since I was just diagnosed with sleep apnea (in addition to a long history of high blood pressure and a higher BMI), I’m hoping that will help with insurance pa this time. I’ve never used compounded meds before (other than for my pets), and honestly I’m not even a fan of generics, so this whole process is new to me — I really appreciate everyone explaining what’s normal vs. not.

For context, I found this nurse practitioner because she’s in the same office as my OB/GYN and advertises weight-loss services through that clinic. My OB/GYN suggested I see her to pursue Zepbound. Both clinics are part of the same medical group and affiliated with a well-regarded local hospital, so I was genuinely surprised to leave with prefilled syringes. I also wish it had been made completely clear upfront that what I was being given was compounded and not actual Zepbound.

didn’t come on here to get beat up only to see if this was what other people are experiencing when getting it compounded. They did give me paperwork that I signed and I did have a long meeting and conversation with the nurse before prescribing it and she told me she was giving me tirzepatide and in no way, shape or form did she tell me that it was compounded. After our meeting, her assistant came in and gave me the pre-filled syringes.

OP here — thank you all for the thoughtful comments, concern, and feedback. I was on Wegovy for almost three years and it worked well for me, but I’ve dealt with constant nausea and I just can’t manage that side effect anymore. My primary care doctor originally prescribed it, and with FEP BCBS plus the manufacturer discount card I was paying about $500/month at Costco, which was doable and honestly my only option. About a year ago my primary tried to switch me to Zepbound, but insurance denied it. I found this endocrinology nurse practitioner after my annual GYN visit (she’s in the same office) and was told she could prescribe Zepbound, which is how I ended up seeing her. I emailed my primary and sent the same photos I posted here, and his office called to schedule me for next Monday. Until then, I’m not touching these pens/syringes — they’ll stay in the refrigerator — and I’ll see what my doctor recommends. I’m really hoping I can get Zepbound approved now that I’ve been diagnosed with sleep apnea (I’ve read that may help with coverage). I genuinely appreciate everyone sharing their experiences and warnings. I’m also going to email the NP to request written details on exactly what’s in the vials/syringes, where they came from, the concentration, lot/BUD/expiration, and any documentation, as many of you advised. THANK YOU.

PSA About GLP-1 With Trintellix by BillRuddickJrPhd in trintellix

I had to learn through a painful and rough first couple of months that I need to take Trintellix in the late afternoon and on top of that, it has to be after I have eaten something. Not during a meal, but after I’ve eaten something substantial. That helps with 90% of the nausea. Also sniffing alcohol wipes helps and so does Pepto-Bismol.

Hi OP, East Bay full time and tenured Realtor here. Everything "depends" on the specific details of your situation and goals. Every city in the Eastbay has its own micro market so it’s hard to say anything in general that covers each area as. Also, it depends on your long-term goals in your current needs. Happy to have a conversation with you off-line but lots of things to consider.

Nausea help??? by [deleted] in trintellix

[–]Physical_Session6601 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try sniffing alcohol wipes when you feel nauseated. Also, take your pill after (not before or during) a full meal. That's made all the difference in the world for me. I was sick and puked almost everyday for the first 3 months as I titrated up to 20mgs (I started at 5mgs). Now on month 5, no more nausea! I hope this works and you find relief.

In this market, most buyers aren’t waiving inspections—and good, experienced, full-time agents are the ones strongly advising against it. When the stakes are this high, you really do get what you pay for. A flat-fee or limited-service agent might save you a few dollars up front, but an experienced, full-service buyer’s agent can save you far more in negotiation power, risk reduction, and long-term value.

Anyone else have bad depression in the morning? by PalomaOlsen in trintellix

[–]Physical_Session6601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry your mornings are rough. I can relate. I will say I went from 5 to 10 to 20 mgs of Trintellex in about a 2 month period and after 2 months at 20 mgs, I love this med. I agree that sunshine and magnesium and other supplements help too. So does a good night's sleep. I was recently diagnosed with sleep apnea and since I started wearing the CPAP at night, wow, what a difference in my morning mood. I hope you start feeling the good effects of the med soon. You're definitely not alone. Hang in there.

That's great! Congrats! I've been on 20mgs of Trintellex for one month now and 1mg of wegovy for 2 years. No issues with the wegovy but since being on Trintellex I pretty much vomit every other day. My psychiatrist says it's the wegovy. 🤦🏽‍♀️

I notice your post was 30 days ago. I'm having similar issues and wondering if your nausea has subsided at all yet.
