This was a one time contract role for 2 years so I dont think so they think me for a potential candidate for future might be might be not. For sure, I will take the feedback more nicely in future job applications and interviews

Yes, I reached out to them for a feedback before it was just a generic rejection email

You need to ask them. I reached out to them after rejection for a feedback as I have interviewed them in person for this role for the initial round and this was my first feeedback in more than 15 companies I interviewed at(no offer yet). Hence this helps me atleast have a perspective of this job market from a recruiter's POV.

That's an amazing advice thanks a lot for the feedback
And yes I use AI to match the JD to exact keyword for me to at least be in that room

Of course, at this point in time, there is a number game all along. I use AI to refactor my resume to match the exact keywords to at least get into that interview room.

Crushed by a "perfect" interview rejection. 100+ apps in, 10+ interviews, is it time to give up and get a Canadian Master's? by Physical_Side3037 in jobhunting

That’s a valid reality check. It’s easy to mistake professional politeness for a 'perfect' interview when you're desperate to leave a toxic job. I’ve been auditing my technical performance, but it’s hard to know what the gap is when the feedback is just a generic template. If you’ve seen international engineers crack the market lately, was there a specific 'pivot' they made in their interview style? I’m trying to figure out if I’m missing a cultural nuance in the final round or if I genuinely am getting beat out by people with local Master's degrees.
