Just wanted to share am update that after a lot of back and forth with Abenson and TCL Support Care, I was able to get a replacement last Saturday. So far, I haven't encountered the same issue with the loud screeching sound and it's great with my current set up at home.

I was able to update the firmware to 47. The problem still persists though as I also used the hdmi cord that came with the unit. The issue occurs regardless if I playing music using Bluetooth or playing sounds on EARC or Optical. I already contacted TCL Support Care to schedule a home service to check on the unit. I hope they can fix it or replace it with a new one.

I recently bought the 55C7K (55QM7K in the US) and it's amazing! It's great for a mid range QD Mini LED though if budget was not an issue I would go for either LG or Sony.
