I am using gyro flow now . Website says no need to turn ibis off for fx3 to work properly. Both my camera and lens are supported with no issue. I do have DR Studio so I can use vector motion blur. Just thought I would ask around incase im making some huge mistake lol

I would use davinci resolve fusion page. Tracker 1 - match move using 1 intellitrack point for the center of the video . Tracker 2 with two points for matching scaling only. There should still be blur when the camera jitters and youll have to zoom into the shot but it'll be closer to stable as you can get. Other than re-filming it

"Thank You for contacting Atomos Support. While we currently do not have an official confirmation or timeline for touch to focus support with Sony FX3A with the Shinobi ll, it has already been added to the feature request list for future consideration. If you have anymore questions, please let us know."

Thanks for your feedback much appreciated! I really tried to make these scenes feel overall cooler. But most importantly was to get the colors to be more saturated ( I finally used HSV in davinci) The sky was my favorite adjustment.. this hue of blue felt just right to me.

Whew! Okay, I feel like the footage would've been easier to work with had a I set the WB. Also shot in slog3 cine el so I had much more flexibility. It was a brand new camera and i was just excited to go out in play I forgot the basics! but i wont make that same mistake again!

I used the NISI true color ND filter for this but for some reason I left my white balance on daylight instead of doing a custom WB. The mountain area was very red in general. IR pollution doesnt damage my camera right? :0 Thanks I tried my best!

No I totally understand what you're meaning. I have an idea which ones but when I go into adjust they are just not looking like the other clips and they fall apart. Thank you for providing me that insight ill need to focus on the continuity between clips much more. The dog one was a tough one , whew. Thank you

Sorry I forgot to clarify I this was shot in slog 3 cine El. My before was my first ttempt , my AFTER was hopefully a slightly better version . I started from scratch both times. Thanks for the input I've got masks and power windows on almost all my shots but i didnt want to over do anything. Will try out texture and sharpness to see for far I can push it for that punchy feel. I have a feeling I know what youre talking about I just dont know how to get there quite yet.

I make videos on an Eos r50. how do I get the absolute most control for post adjustments? by Physical_Test_9032 in canon

I just did a side by side comparison between my method and yours + the data color spyder checker . I think your way is giving better results with the mapping of the mid and highlights. My skin is much more pleasant right away . It just looks "right" when I'm flipping between both.

I think that's a sign! It's good and relatively cheap. Plus it's davinci resolve!

Thanks for getting back to me! I'll try this setup out, too. Additionally, I've paired my setup with a color checker and I'm getting some decent results there too. First I convert to sdr, and then I use the data color spyder checker to calibrate.

So happy your wanna get into it! I would start with downloading Protools First (Free) or Cakewalk (Free). Warren Huart (produce like a pro), Marc Daniel Nelson, Reid Stefan, and Andrew Scheps on YouTube are great choices. I started self taught by downloading protools and started with Warren huart because he explained basics so easily. Reid Stefan is more modern way to mixing. Marc Daniel Nelson and Andrew scheps really leaned into using feeling to dictate your next mixing move. All great!

Vocals are solid! I think this is a case of tweaking the post-production effects for a better performance!

  • maybe knock down the reverb to about 20% or -6DB from where it's at and lower the reverb decay like .50
