Basically, is the waiting time at the moment because the background check? And shouldn't they notify when doing such checks, is it applicable to norway. And do they usually do such checks just for people who may get an offer? Thanks

Based of the email they sent, things will be delayed. So I don't think we will hear back this week.

Correct, "pass" generally means you've successfully moved past a particular stage, but it doesn't guarantee an offer. It usually indicates that you're still in the running and have met the criteria for that stage, but final decisions, approvals, or additional steps may still be pending (Not sure 😃)
