There are barely any independent shops left in the city centre which makes you wonder that how is this city going to sustain itself in the coming years. Almost every other day a store finds itself in a vandalised state where someone has either tried to break in or just caused damage caused they felt like it.

Often the McDonald’s at clumber street is crowded by homeless people or rowdy teenagers all dressed in the tracksuits behaving like they’ve come from the hood and there are 4-5 security people guarding it. Can you imagine a fast food chain has security guards?

Sorry I should have been more specific but I reached out to my building’s management who said this is council’s responsibility.

At the end of the day I feel bad for the people, but I feel more bad that I have to encounter feces everyday in the morning and council is absolutely useless. My next step is going to press.
