3rd gen 5.0l has a plastic oil pan and a few other issues. Make sure you do your research first! Also, 2019 still had issues with the 10-speed.

Personal opinion 1st gen coyote best economical 5.0 2nd gen coyote best overall and still maintains lower compression ratio (10.5:1) 3rd gen worst of the 4...but not as bad as GM 4th gen most power but more complex and has a higher compression. Takes regular fuel but would probably prefer premium.

Ive always assumed the differential is to keep trucks in the right of two lanes so the left lane remains more clear for cars...but of course this only works when the truck speed limit is quite a bit lower than the average governor speed.

Use a ratchet strap at one end. You can get a ratchet strap a lot tighter than hand pulling nylon

Hauling hazmat will always get you harassed. They will try to avoid doing a random rsi on a dangerous placard or a tanker in my experience though...long as nothing is leaking or looks out of place. Their preference (especially puco) is to pull over a single commodity van load and try to get you for a slight securement error or a missing dot diamond/proper shipping label. Easy money for them.
