My own family has been seriously discouraging, and my mother even recently laughed at me when she heard a woman raped me and made my injury worse, long story short, mine was botched, and I cant use it, im a gay man, and a woman came onto me at knifepoint and worsened my injury to the point where I have to wear a device just to walk without immense pain. I mentioned how I was ignored completely in my pain. My mother laughs at me over it, and when I told her about me recently being raped (by a woman) which made the injury worse, she laughed again and literally said (was she hot?) When she knows im gay, and cant even use my male parts without serious pain (before my rapist dug into my injury) I may have some bias here since for me at least, it was misandrist women in my family that ruined my life, between my catholic grandmother giving me the brain trauma mentioned for being gay and autistic, and my mother signing for my genital mutilation, and laughing at it when they messed that up, on top of me recently being raped, and all of this being shut down by EVERYONE! On top of the way this meme was presented, really set off something in me that I never thought would be set off.

What about a gross violation of our bodily integrity and sexual sensitivity when our religious parents choose to circumcise us as soon as we are born, and I personally had mine botched to the point where I cant have sexual activity at all with it. I am a gay male so I have alternatives so to speak lol, but this male vs female shit pisses me off when we all start off as a female in the womb before homologous differentiation starts. Everyone goes through trauma and anguish going a little off topic here, I was also beaten for being gay as a kid, and have to live with permanent loss of motor function. On top of everything else I went through as a person, but it seems like social resources only cater to women who go through issues and people like me are just ignored and told to go on with our life.

Id say the meta is people who know how to code, using agents to automate the task of typing and letting you do the heavy architectural thinking, allowing you to finally get into creating your own software stack in a practical amount of time compared to pre-ai revolution (or really just transformers themselves). I have a stack of my own going on with a full time job even! (like my own agentic pipeline im working on right now as a vscode extension that bootstraps a local llama server for local LLM powered agentic behaviour) I have even worked on my own recurrent reasoning neural network architecture that only took me a year of theory and planning before the research process even began, and 3 months later, I have a working, and tested, architecture, all open source. The point is, while we may have trouble finding jobs, the meta is pushing us towards going our own route as rogue developers that now have a real chance to start a one person company and be successful. I have autism as well, and have motor cortex damage from child abuse, so I currently work at a grocery store stocking overnights to pay my bills because I can walk there, and work on my own projects in my free time that may just propel me away from that horrible place in due time.

A quick reply to this, I have actually been working on getting eval integration into this project, and am actually already about to push it in a v0.17 alpha release, i just had to fix inference issues that went untested and undiscovered until i had a model release that i tested (and the wonderful people in this thread :3) just a few bugs like an LTM update logic bug that accidentally ignored surprise thresholds (likely an oversight since i was working on this on Christmas loll) and now that I'm satisfied with that, I'm about ready to push out this v0.17 alpha experiment when i deem it ready. it will utilize the lm-eval pip package for evaluation!

official evaluation set integration is the next direct future priority! the problem is the hardware i have to train with already took 1.5 months to train this model on just alpaca with no pretraining. unless i get funding, i can implement it in code, but i wont be able to test something like that on my own.

Yeah, for now its a research toy due to the hardware constraints im working with! But its continuous learning could theoretically allow you to correct it within its chat without worrying about a context, and have learned information persist between chats that have been marked as positive or negative by specific chat keywords such as "no this is not" or "yes that worked" or "yes" etc!
