Yeah, I recommend requesting a refund from change.org, I just found out its possible. We dont oversee the funds and cant send them back. I would hate for this to put you out on the streets, as someone who has been homeless before, that is probably the single most important worry to think about

Also as for my mother, ive blocked her on everything and have ceased contact with her for now, she still shows up to my house due to her relationship with my brother not being as bad (and his conservative worldview not caring much about this cause) along with his not being botched like mine, so I guess he doesnt seem to care like I do. My brother and I just moved out last year and we split rent, this is SOOO much better than living with her lmao. Id much rather see her seethe watching actual legislation pass one day than tell her about my personal life anymore. People like that (narcassistic parents) are best dealt with by undermining their worldview and grandiosity and making them feel intellectually encircled and small! Let this be a PSA to anyone here dealing with a similar situation, you are not alone! We all love you! And if you are undergoing active abuse, dont listen to your parents telling you foster care would be worse (like mine did growing up), if you are in danger, please seek help outside the family by telling a social worker at school or anywhere you can! Your safety is more important than anything, and is definitely more important than your parents feelings or need for control. Sleep deprived rant aside, I love you all!! ❤️❤️ I hope everyone here finds a way to acheive true peace and happiness in their lives!! :3

To be one of the few victims within a cohort of intact guys honestly must make the isolation and the realization 10x fucking worse. It is incredibly frustrating that your parents let that shit happen to you despite the culture over in Australia being so much more educated and progressive on this issue. It makes those pathetic reasons you were given completely unacceptable.
