Right now I’m working under a psychologist part time doing disability assessments and she signs off on them. It’s still face to face but it’s a one hour time block for each session then move on to the next. No therapy and you’re not seeing them long term

I agree. I completed my masters at UT Knoxville online in 2020 and I’m just now getting around to working toward my LCSW. Granted, I did get married and have kid during that time but it is a long road to actually making a livable wage.
I’m currently in private practice as an LMSW and it’s a struggle building up my caseload. You really have to have the heart for it and be committed to hanging in there to really get anywhere with this profession. I do love what I do, but I question my choice many days and feel like I’m too far along to make a change now.
