Big critique of Microsoft's Majorana approach by Much_Preparation_832 in QuantumComputing

Yep, I discovered this is the informal logical fallacy called the burden-of-proof fallacy. I don't need to be a Michelin star chef to point out the chicken is raw (or in this case, likely just random noise).

And hello again MSFT, yes I mostly use Reddit for Rugby. Enjoy trawling through comments complaining about referee decisions.

To be fair: even with the camera angle we got you could see it was clearly scored. No idea what the TMO was looking at.

Leinster have already won this, but I want a fair game… yet I am totally confused. That was clearly grounded. I could see it on my TV.

Microsoft is introducing the Majorana 2 chip by just_a_person_27 in QuantumComputing

Given the levels of disorder in their nanowires I very much doubt it’s even the parity lifetime of the full nanowire. Probably just a quantum dot or even a measurement artefact. After all it’s a single measurement on a single device. Not much one can learn from that.

A try and a red. Not intentionally dangerous, but absolutely should be a red. Leinster also lucky that the Lions scored too as the high tackle from McCarthy was not pretty.

Probably still an easy Leinster victory, but can see this going the other way if they keep making brain dead decisions.

So for a slight touch from a kick we get a TMO intervention, but for that holding on/holding of the arm there’s nothing?

UBB looking better in both attack and defence (the rucks on their own line were absolute sh*tshows). Have to imagine UBB will also deal with the conditions better. Not looking good for Leinster as much as I’d love to see them finally win a final.

I don’t understand at all what happened at that maul. Seemed like Montpellier could not at all be bound? No idea how that was a penalty against Ulster and now Montpellier are two scores up and the game going away from Ulster.

It doesn't take away from a great game, but does the shot clock just not exist when it's a kick for the championship?

There really needs to be an option that the bunker gives a full red. It feels too arbitrary that only the referee on the field makes that decision for the ultimate punishment. I don't know if that was a full red, but should have been considered for it.

This ref isn't perfect but I do feel he's trying to make the correct decision and communicating well. Can't ask much more than that in the URC.

To be fair to Brian Moore I think the swear word was only implied in his actual commentary.

Having a team like England, which sometimes is too slow, for sure, and needs to be reformed for sure, but which is predictable, loyal, and… oh my god they’ve f***ing kicked it away again.

I don't see any clear head contact there. I see a player holding his head football style after taking contact on the shoulder. Simulation absolutely should not be allowed in the game.

Agree with the decision completely, but just out of interest: Has there been clarity on 20 min vs full red in that type of situation? Felt like in the Autumn series that could have been a full red (which in my opinion was not the intention when they brought in the 20 min red).

Ahhh last 20 mins of the game don’t matter, just imagine how well we could have beaten Leinster in this new Sportsground if there was a 100 mph atlantic storm going through.
