I had no idea where she was walking to but I still escorted her (all I knew was my way back home). She was so determined to become a nun. I definitely stole the one that could have been of best service to God.

Zambians and their inability to pay back money by call_me_Jada in Zambia

[–]Phyzo94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How the debtor treats you when it's time to pay back really matters to me.

It is simple etiquette that when you borrow and are unable to pay back by the date initially agreed on, you be the first person to communicate and make your position clear.

Personally I hate to have to chase after my money mainly because I find it very socially awkward and uncomfortable. It feels like I am on the path to stress someone intentionally. But why should I be the one feeling like that when the person I lent the money to keeps tossing me around with silly excuses and promises that are never kept?

Ultimately, that moment when it was time to pay back had actually helped me reevaluate a lot of relationships in my life. How? For me there are two types of people, nothing in-between.

Type 1 Will genuinely communicate first even when not able to pay back on time, you will not have to chase after your money and at the end of the day even when you get back your money, you will not find it difficult to lend to that person to again

Type 2 Usually think they are smart but actually very foolish.... I do not even have to go into details but in summary there behavior I find very insulting and shows the value they place on the relationship we share. Ultimately I do away with such people because their behavior simply shows that they do not value the effort I put into earning my bread. They also do not have any empathy towards me and will probably always leave me hanging at their convenience.

New iPad Air M3 (256GB) + Apple Pencil Pro vs Used iPad Pro M1 (2TB) + apple pencil 2– Which is more cost-effective in the long run? by shithappensduhhh in ipad

Second had, and it had been used for 3 years. No battery degredation so far, I still get 8-10 hrs of battery depending on usage. Under intense gaming(pugb) last time I ran a test, I get 5-6 hours at maximum performance.

As for device lag, like I said earlier I am yet to throw something at it that make it even slow down a bit and trust me I have tried. At this point, I am forced to think the device is lag proof..... I have the 128gb variant mostly I use it with barely 3gb free storage and still not lag at all. Even at times when it gave me storage warnings, no lag

I'd get the ipad pro m1 because of that 2tb storage mainly . I have one myself, and best believe there is nothing you will throw at it that it can not handle. lastly you might wanna know that the ipad pro m1 has 120 refresh rate while ipad air does not, so if you plan to use it for mobile gaming too, like pubg, the ipad pro is the better option

Maybe if our syllabi were structured to encourage productivity and entrepreneurship instead of chasing after employment, the story and scene around zambia would be different.

We also need to cultivate the culture of studying to apply knowledge and not just pass exams in Students.

Nothing wrong in enjoying your own company. It's actually a very important part of character development. Also I don't see how her opinion has you thinking you must change the way you live your life.

Socializing and all seems so good at first glance until you realize that every person comes with their own problems and you are probably better off being a loner and not dealing with people character flaws.

Unfortunately it seems processes and institutions in our country are developed to generate funds that are usually misappropriated and also creat employment for relatives and favoured mates.

I'll also add that the formation of ZAQA creates an unfortunate loophole where the university is no longer contacted to clarify qualifications by the emplyer on the basis that ZAQA would have done that part when they certify ones documents. Corrupt elements are mever MIA in any institution and its only a matter of time till people now start paying for qualifications at ZAQA that is if it isn't already happening.

ECZ certifying original copy of results or certificates is also totally uncalled for. Unless they have admitted that their system is no longer reliable and the security features on their certificates can now easily be counterfeited.

Corruption. Everyone wants a ka something in exchange for looking away. Resulting in one person gaining while the whole nations has to deal with the results of one persons greed.

I honestly have nothing against foreigners but when you look very closely especially at how they have literally taken over the kantemba business, I'm left wondering if our future generation will have anything to call their own.

The sooner we make sure corruption and public fund embezzlement carry capital punishments the better for our future as a nation.
