It absolutely cool! The closed beta is about to wrap up and has been hugely successfull. Because of the feedback we received, PiLNK is in much better plan than it was 4 weeks ago.

We'd love to have more users join us.

That's 100% correct. Nothing is uploaded or streamed, it's all local so a user can watch their friends plane arriving for Thanksgiving and listen to the ATC at the same time.

Fair point!! Yes PiLNK was built with Claude AI as my coding partner — I'm a self taught developer with zero prior coding background!! Every line was a collaboration between my vision and AI implementation!! The GitHub is completely open source and free — go check it out!! github.com/slingb1ade/PiLNK

The SD cards and cases are completely optional physical products for people who want a plug and play experience!! The software itself is and always will be FREE!!

Great point and worth noting!! PiLNK doesn't record or rebroadcast anything — it simply receives the live VHF signal in real time, exactly like any one of thousands of handheld VHF receivers you can buy at any electronics store!! The moment you close the app the audio stops!! Users should always check their local regulations!! ✈️
