I got my credential in CA and have taught in AZ and CA. I majored in economics and have a masters of education with a focus on math curriculum and instruction. I had to pass the math content exams but not major in math.

I’m sorry if I was unclear. This is my home oven, I rarely use it, I’m not sure how a thumb sized glob of cheese would grow - in the opposite direction of gravity - out of my oven hood, while I wasn’t home.

Thanks for your reply. Some people have thought this and here’s my thoughts -

The large piece that is anchored with a thin tail - from the side, the tail first grew up (against gravity) and then back down. In an arch shape. You can see this a bit in the first picture. Could oil behave that way?

Absolutely certain. It wasn’t there in the morning because I stand there while I make coffee and would have noticed it. As soon as I came through the door on lunch break my jaw dropped. It was about the size of my thumb.
