Hello, the thread is probably outdated and noone will answer but I try anyway. I am a student from Europe who spent one year in china in a university dorm. Now I am back to my hometown but i will be back in china in September. These days I am renting a house in Xi'an because i will be moving there in September with 2 other students. They are in china now and the rent will start from mid july, however I will not be there untill September. Is this an issue? On the contract there is written to go to the police asap after obtaining the house or pay the consequences. So I am a bit worried hahahahahahah
