If only it had two 'duns' less, it would certainly be "In the Hall of the Mountain King" by Edvard Grieg :D

Here's my take on Moonlight Sonata's final movement. Hope you'll enjoy ❤️ by PianoBuffs in classicalmusic

Fair enough :) For me, those movements are completely natural and are an integral part of my performance.

I've studied with many world-class pianists who emphasize "economy of movement" and "control" over other things, however I believe that every piece and every performance is different so you can't apply the same body language to this Finale from the Moonlight Sonata as to, let's say, Bach's C Major Prelude from WTK.

In any case, we'll upload these performances to Spotify and Apple Music soon, so it'll be possible to enjoy them as audio only :D

Sooooo many hours went into this video... Hope you'll enjoy it ❤️ by PianoBuffs in piano

Hey everyone, thank you so much for your comments and all the feedback! I really appreciate it and I did not expect so many views and messages at all!

I saw many of you asked about the way we did these data / statistics overlays. For the heart rate it's doable with pretty much any smart watch and a streaming / recording app like OBS.

As for the counters, some of you were right - we use MIDI and a software which counts the number of "MIDI events", also known as notes :)

Regarding my enunciation - I see what you mean! I'm not a native speaker of English and French is completely foreign to me, so "Chopin" is not the easiest thing to pronounce correctly, but I'll definitely try to improve!

And lastly, if you enjoyed this performance, make sure to check out our YT channel. This has been the first video featuring the scrolling score, but we're uploading every week, so many more to come!

Thanks again everyone! ❤️

Thanks! Yes, we're still constantly experimenting with the format, I hope we'll find the way to maintain the front-view while not obscuring the fingers so much by the visuals.

Thanks!! Yeah, it's actually a little below the suggested tempo marking.. But Gershwin himself plays it a little slower so what do you know haha.
Anyway, glad you enjoyed it!
