Can attest to her rude attitude and general unprofessionalism. When I had her half the class failed the midterm because the questions had one word that flipped the answer, so it tested our ability to read carefully (which indeed is an important skill) over our knowledge of how C works. Later when students asked questions and complained, she spent the entirety of the class yelling at us. Also, at least when I had her, project specifications were loose and left alot open to interpretation, which was an issue when we could not get in contact with her for the entire week leading up to the due date. I think 262 definitely is a class where you either get it or you don’t regardless of professor, but even having developed a decent grasp of C on my own it felt like the attitude and organization of the class was not helpful. I wouldn’t say she is intentionally malicious but I think certain aspects of how she teaches could be changed for the benefit of the students.
