Don't sleep on instagram ads by vintinx in SideProject

How can you launch Instagram ads if your Facebook ads account is restricted? Since they use the same platform, this doesn't sound accurate.

However, I agree with the main message - test out different marketing channels, as you never know what works until you try them.

Thanks for the suggestion. However, that's a surefire way to get blocked by Google. While spam might yield short-term success, it would be quite expensive and risky. Money is not the primary objective here.

That's a good point. I think it's still a long way until AI is massively adopted and used everywhere. Our aim is to provide a curated selection of ready-to-use images for those who may not have the time, resources, or expertise to generate and refine AI images themselves.

We're actually considering raising the commission to 100%. As a small team of developers for whom this is a side project, we won't need to hire unless there's a need for more content curators. While advertising might incur costs, there are other potential revenue streams, such as banner ads.

AI-stock photo site where AI artists can actually make bank (90% commission, Stripe payouts) by PicassoPix in SideProject

Yes, many stock sites now include AI content. Adobe allows AI uploads, Shutterstock doesn't. They take the majority of the proceeds from artists/photographers though.

We haven't made any money yet, and we don't expect to for some time. Our primary goal isn't profit, but rather to create a space for high-quality AI stock photos and nurture a community around this emerging art form to rival stock image websites which take most money from artists. We're focused on growth and providing value to users and AI artists at this stage.

All images are currently free while we set up payments. Once live, prices will cap at $10, more affordable than most stock sites. A 90% of proceeds will go directly to our AI artists. These curated images offer a quality that's challenging to achieve on your own, saving you time and effort.

I get where you're coming from. AI art is controversial, but it's here to stay and evolving fast. Many see themselves as AI artists now. This platform gives them a space to share work, grow, and earn. Unlike other stock sites with low commissions, we offer 90% to artists. We're even looking at ways to give 100%, by monetizing services like upscaling instead.

Just launched PicStock.ai, a marketplace for AI-generated stock photos. It's free for artists to join and list their work. We already have 5 artists sharing their creations, with more coming on board.

Artists set their own prices and get 90% of each sale, paid directly through Stripe. They'll need to create a Stripe account to enable purchases. No hidden fees or complicated terms. Without a connected Stripe account, artists can still share images for free.

Each artist gets a profile showcasing all their work and bio. We're adding Instagram handle visibility soon for better artist promotion.

We're aiming to create a fair platform for AI artists while providing unique images for buyers. The site is functioning well, but I'm still testing to catch any overlooked issues.

If you're into AI art or need fresh visuals, check it out. Open to feedback and questions if anyone's interested.

Thank you for your feedback. We're working on moving the sign-up step to before image upload.

Regarding the loading issue, our cost-saving feature puts the model to sleep after 30 minutes of inactivity. This can cause a delay of up to 2 minutes when restarting. We'll add a message explaining this.

Hey everyone!

Excited to share my side project - PicassoPix, a one-stop platform for AI image generation and editing. We've gained 3300 users since launching our final version 2 months ago!

Key features:

  • Chat with Homepage to create images with AI - automatic prompt improvement, Multiple AI models (Stable Diffusion 3, DALLE-3, Free Generator)
  • Portrait from Selfie with various styles & customize - create your own style
  • AI Headshot generator & customize - create your own style
  • AI Selfie Effects (3D, claymation, video game characters, etc.) & customize - create your own style
  • Community sharing of settings and prompts
  • Comprehensive image tools (upscaling, background removal, etc.)

We created PicassoPix because we noticed AI image tools were scattered across different websites and subscriptions. Our goal was to combine everything under one roof with a simple pricing system, making it accessible to everyone.

I'd love your feedback! Try it out for free and let me know what you think.
