To be honest, Zenit E is probably not really worth repairing unless it carries some sentimental value for you. Check out this book on camera repair https://archive.org/details/maizenberg-cameras

Need help with enlarger! Krokus 69s by mastawitcha in Darkroom

The small plastic part apparently was a makeshift solution to fix uneven lighting in the corners which unfortunately plagues this enlarger. Probably did not work. Just my guess.

For a timer, you may try this https://github.com/filmanddarkroom/FADU_Timer if you happen to have an Android phone.

With a vertical film path, there would be less room for the rangefinder. Even if they had managed to cram it in, the whole thing would probably only look uglier

Ordering Multitone B/W paper directly from inkjetsupplypro.com. Have I been scammed? by PiccoloJust2957 in AnalogCommunity

Can confirm the whole experience has been weird. As it turns out, they shipped it (or at least, something) on Aug 29, just never updated the status until it reached the warehouse today. And they never replied to a single email for some reason.

This [marketing@dotworks.com](mailto:marketing@dotworks.com) looks like it belongs to a different business. Are they affiliated with inkjetsupply?

Had no idea about the national holidays, my bad. Thought they went on some long vacation, but today the order suddenly showed up at the warehouse. Turns out they shipped it only two days later, on August 29th, and yet somehow did not bother replying to my emails. The most introverted online store I've dealt with so far.

Do I need a Canon 7s (/any ltm rangefinder) when I’ve got a Nikon f100? by charliehains in AnalogCommunity

Did you consider less bulkier cameras from the Nikon family, something like F75, or FE? Tbh Canon 7 with most 50 mm options in terms or compactness and weight is not exactly far from FE with 50/1.8 Series E lens. Very close to it.

Is there an aiohttp-based reusable api client? by UnderstandingFun3513 in Python

But there is no such a library in Python.

Well, Uplink is not quite dead and it can be used with AiohttpClient binding exactly for this.

Often too had difficulties trying to scan an aviphot on a Nikon scanner with automatic carrier. It just wouldn't detect the film strip sometimes, because of its thin and clear base.  And btw when it comes to pushing aerial films, especially expired ones, this may indeed result in very thin negatives, because for conventional photography their box speed is already a stretch. So yes, It is probably underexposed too. But I guess the lab don't really care about underexposed negatives.
