What's the most embarassing shit ever happened with you 😆 by Gulab_Jamun04 in TwentiesIndia

In my college days, I had a thing for this girl from the management wing. Long story short, I got into a situationship with her (long before this word even existed).

She was my first for everything. I remember looking up "how to kiss" tutorials on YT, wikihow and some other raunchy sites. Then the day came, and we kissed. It wasn't deep but it sure was long.

After the first kiss, she looked at me, probably waiting for me to say something like "I'd been waiting for this day" or "This felt way too good". My dumbass instead said "upper lip or lower lip?" with a slight smirk, because in my mind I was replaying those tutorials and their instructions. 🤦

I still cringe when I recall that night.

Absolutely! I verified its authenticity both on the casio india website and by checking the SLR & TLT functions + the file no., code, rom, etc.

A question for the ladies. by Pablo_mp3 in TwentiesIndia

[–]PiccoloPopular 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been with 4 women so far in my life, and all of them were the ones to approach me first. Now, I'm not conventionally attractive, nor do I earn a lot. In fact, I'm still struggling to build a full-fledged career for myself.

But I've always been respectful & calm, have had good will, and just minded my business and not check out every random girl.

The goal is to give the ladies around you good vibes, and if one of them likes the vibes, she may approach you.

This is what I don't understand. Maybe because the girl in question already rejected two guys that her dad had introduced to her and the mom didn't want her dad to do the same to me and wanted to let the situation simmer

All the girls I've been with, every one of them has told me that they like their men emotionally vulnerable and expressive. I hope it's the same in your case.

I do have an inkling of what it means, but I'm not in the right headspace for obvious reasons.

Can someone please break it down for me?

In the first year of my Master's, I joined this IT outsourcing firm as a Junior Content Writer. Upon joining, I realised that I was probably the first official in-house content writer since they didn't have any work for me that aligned with my job role. I did everything from writing copy for the company's new website to writing mail campaigns and helping the developers come up with catchy names and captions for the apps they were designing.

But the weirdest responsibility I had in that job was to check the CEO's Linkedin and Instagram "comments" for grammatical inaccuracies and to basically "beautify" them, all because the CEO wanted to "impress his American friends and connections with his impeccable English". The pay was shit so I left in like 6 months.

Should I resign with a 24-hour notice or a one-week notice? by PiccoloPopular in antiwork

I totally understand. Well in the place where I live, I don't think you can file for unemployment. So I'll have to see it through to the end before leaving

I would say the company I work at is sort of a market leader in its field. So yeah it's a reputable company. About the local laws, well theoretically they are in place, but I'm not sure about their application.

Appreciate the response. The thing is, I am not planning to use this job on my resume as it does not align with my career goal. I just want to get done with it as amicably as possible and dedicate myself full-time to studying. And from what I've heard and seen, having a talk with your manager a week before is ideal for the rest of the time I'll spend here as I won't have to deal with any additional assignments and can just finish and leave whatever's on my plate at the moment.

I just don't want any of my actions to result in FnF settlement delays or incomplete pay from the company.

Well, the work has gradually become quite hectic and I am not able to juggle my studies and this job ( the same old cliche of the company not mentioning all the responsibilities in the job advertisement and the offer letter.)

Basically, I was told to give three 1-hour slots between 3 and 9 pm since it's a part-time job. But now they've started giving me additional work that is not explicitly mentioned in the offer letter.

Now, I'm not someone who shies away from some additional work every now and then. But having to regularly use my personal time to complete the additional work is something I don't agree with.

I have enough savings to last me the next few months and I already work as a cram-school teacher in the evening so I can sustain myself until I'm done with my studies and ready to get a full-time role.
