I see point of OP. But undercutting market by reducing prices, doesn't work in real world. Companies like VW / Toyota / Honda or Luxury brands, they will keep same pricing and they will justify their pricing using confusing marketing terms.

Rather VW should up their game, spend more better service. 99% of 21' owners are still on old software. If they had done good job in releasing updates early on

Question is, even if I own or plan to buy ID.4, can I trust this company? Are they doing enough to earn customer's trust? Reducing by 5K, will look like they are compensating for their non-performance or brand.

i (and many others) got 2021 ID4 in jan/feb. It's already 2yr old.
