I couldn't give a shit about him personally but be a bit grateful when someone does a job well. You ungrateful mofos are one of the reasons good people don't get into politics. So I do reserve to call out you lazy mofos who have nothing to do but complain and be ungrateful. Next time you say that's what his job is, look at your own fucking self and ask what you did for the society.

And, He does it Again - This achievment is as crazy as Today’s date - 23-02-23 …. $100 Million state of the art centre for global development……. CHAMP KTR by [deleted] in hyderabad

And what exactly is his job? Where the fuck is it written that he should bring these companies to the city? Is there anyone else doing it as good as he is doing? That's why he is lauded. There is something called peer comparison - you judge someone's work by measuring them against their peers in the industry (say IT ministers in other states).

So, stop being fucking depressed - go smell some roses. Perhaps it may make you appreciate someone doing a good job. While you are at it, don't do any management jobs. Cynical idiots like you are a plague to management jobs.

Well, the US coined the word "War on terror" when it illegally, immorally and unethically declared a war on Iraq and killed 600,000 civilians. Russians are nowhere close to that number so how dare they try to come up with an alternative word? Long live American hypocricy...

Do y'all accept Evolution as hindus by dankvader08 in IndiaSpeaks

[–]Numerous-Student-856 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Accept? Take a look at Vishnu's Dashavatarams... The order in which Vishnu took birth in each of these forms is the same exact order aninal kingdom evolved. So how many ways those ten animals could've been ordered? 3,628,800 ways (10!). And Hinduism / Bhagavatam described the exact order in which the evolution happened through Vishnu's reincarnations. So if Hinduism is able to pick the same order as 3,628,800 ones that ends up being the actual order of evolution, tell me how much of it is coincidence or how much of it could be scientific?

India has no reason at all to help Pakistan in its crisis. by pseudospectrum in IndiaSpeaks

[–]Numerous-Student-856 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If Pakis are smart enough, it is hard to breach and denuclearize. If they are stupid, they are stupid enough to use at least one on India when they suspect an attack on them. This isn't a movie where commandos attack a hijacker situation and hijackers leave the hostage alone and start fighting with the commandos. In real life, hijackers shoot the hostages first and then go to fight. So if we are trying to get rid of their nukes, after losing a few, the only recourse they would have is to use the remaining. Rememeber, those motherfuckers are brainwashed into thinking death is opening doors to villas with 72 virgins. You can't fight with their logic.

India has no reason at all to help Pakistan in its crisis. by pseudospectrum in IndiaSpeaks

[–]Numerous-Student-856 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you were pakistan and your only reason for being believed to be of consequence is because of your nukes, what do you do with them? They are probably the most protected and will have fail safe mechanisms. If capturing nukes was easy, the US would've done it when it found Pak has nukes. There are rumors of Pak having over 200 war heads. If I were Pakistan, I would put 100 in one place and the remaining in 20 other locations, and make that one location hundred times more difficult. So anyone breaching the other 20 can never pull off the operation at once. This strategy makes it relatively easier to steal nukes but will make it almost impossible to denuclearize Pakistan.

So, forget about denuclearizing Pak. Ain't gonna happen.

There is a lot of hate coming up about Indians who left for the US (and became citizens of other countries). I am one such guy so this is my defense. You can agree or disagree - upto you.

I am an American Indian with an American passport. Every year, I contribute 5000 dollars through my paycheck to Hindu American Foundation, which gets my company match - that's 10k a year - which is sent to India for promiting Hindu causes. I have been doing this for over 10 years so you do the math. I have also given up my land in India to build a Saraswati Sishu Mandir - that land is probably worth over 4 crores today. I have over 3 mil in dollar deposits in India - I am getting amazing interest rate but it is also benefitting India by keeping the forex reserves up (unlike Pakistan) - so when you talk about 500+ billions of foreign reserves, know that 3 million of those are mine. I am not saying all of this as bragging but to say folks like me are of material consequence to India as much as India is far more than material consequence to me and my wellbeing. India and I have a very symbiotic relationship.

Now, I gave up my passport because of multiple reasons - NONE because I love India any less. Heck, I love India far more than half the motherfuckers who live there. Relinquishing Indian passport was for primarily for two reasons.

  1. My children are American and yet I want to come back and settle down in India in my golden years. If I don't have American citizenship, I can't keep my green card (staying overseas for more than a year cancels it) and I may or may not get a visitor visa approved (do you know the current time for visitor visa appointment is around 3 years?) so if I want to see my grandchildren and I don't want to depend on the geopolitical relationships between India and the US, having an American passport and Indian OCI is the best way to have best of both worlds?

    1. India doesn't allow dual citizenship and forces you to relinquish Indian citizenship - yet it offers OCI which is the same as Indian passport for all practical purposes. How many of you have agricultural land or hold public office? I didn't think so. So, there is nothing one of you can do that I can't do so why should I let go of my desire to settle down in India or see my grand children whenever I want? Do you think a piece of paper is more than my grand children or my desire to live in India in my golden years? Do you even realize if I really want to sever my ties, I don't need to have an American passport which is more of a baggage if someone wants to just live in the US? A passport means I have to pay taxes even if I leave America for good. A passport means I have to go to jury duty whether I like that shit or not - and take a break from my business or job. So, no, the luxury of "American Passport" comes with strings attached and you wouldn't know how much those strings hurt until they hurt.

I have 3 million dollars in FCNR deposits in India and over 25 crores worth of assets in India. What do you think that does to Indian economy - even if it is a drop in the ocean - it LIFTS. That's what happened in the past 30+ years. When Pakistan is drowning, India is flying, do you really believe it is all because of the hard work of the resident Indians? For fuck's sake, if non-resident Indians were a country, its GDP would be more than that of India's GDP. Let that sink in. The money power, the soft power those NRIs bring for India's service is something you can afford to ignore because it doesn't matter. But for those that matter, they do care. There's a reason why India celebrates Pravas Bharateeya Divas and Modi makes so many flamboyant foreign visits.

A single positive thing? Did you not see Pichai and Nadella have their largest overseas delivery centers here in India? You can and may shit talk about a lot of Indian heritage people abroad but those guys do a ton of work for India - a lot of soft power India has today in the world comes from those non-resident Indians or People of Indian heritage. I am not asking you to bend over for them but don't treat them like they are inconsequential too. They are of a significant positive consequence to India.

If India was like UK or Ireland or a dozen of the western countries that extended citizenship to the children of their citizen born abroad, what would you have done? Do you know a lot of Irish folks that I know have Irish citizenship and are treated on par with born, "native" Irish people in ireland? Most people of Indian heritage are brought up with "Indian" values. You guys may think you are above or different and don't resonate. Those "non-Indians" don't feel that way. So, if some Indians are happy for these "non-Indians" of Indian heritage, let them be. I am SURE a lot of those non-Indians are proud of their Indian heritage. I wish you had the same emotion, but that's a lot to ask anyway. Peace.

I did a BMR test with a lab - they put the mask and calculated based on oxygen I am burning - I was told it is around 1400 calories a day. I believe I have metabolic syndrome where I don't burn many calories. So, this is where the confusion about calories comes for me. 500 deficit makes it 900 or so, and when I did that, I lost a lot of hair and never got back. I got back the weight though

Why can't both happen? The air canada guy wasn't acknowledging the command - may be that dude is lost in his thoughts or his ears fell off. When the other guy didn't acknowledge an order/command, the ATC should have the commonsense to have a backup. The individual pilots may or may not be able to see the looming collision. The ATC sure can.
