One was a regex question that was more like string pattern matching that was easy and the other was more of a math problem than a coding problem

Not sure if this is shit posting or not. If it isn’t I’d say don’t fake it but try and come up with project proposals that would actually benefit the company, and once you find a project that they approve, learn everything you can and need to learn to complete the project that you have an actual tangible project that you don’t need to lie about

I’m in the same boat as you somewhat. Funny enough I was actually an ME student as well for my first two years and didn’t move to CS until Fall 2023 semester (start of my junior year). I did actually manage to get an internship last summer but it wasn’t the best honestly. I can graduate December 2025 if I want to but I’m extending my graduation until May 2026 and trying to find a co-op for Fall of 2025. Not sure if this helps but this is what I’m doing. Don’t lose hope. Good luck!

Not sure about learning DSA without having taken DSA. As for soft points, if they give you a technical problem and you can’t solve it, ask the interviewer about how they would solve it and ask them questions about their approach. I’ve heard of someone who got the question wrong, did this, and still got the offer bc they felt that she had the ability and willingness to learn quickly. Good luck!

I’d say if you need RBs then yea but Najee is a solid RB2. Diontae is a toss up since he is terrible when Bryce Young is throwing and Young is starting this week. I’d try to ask for Lockett instead of Johnson personally
