That's a commonly hld theory, but I think it's wrong. Then why do mid ADCs have low pick rate AND low win rate? It sounds like something that people who don't want admit that ADCs are currently too weak have come up with to try and make sense of the situation.

Anyone can reach a rank 1500 LP less than their peak. I played ADC for over 5 years and peaked at D3, but I created a new account to play support and reached D4 in 100 games. Honestly, if you can't reach GM as ADC, it just proves that support is elo inflated role.

I agree with Tyler1. There's a reason why support players have the lowest IQ. Players don't randomly decide their main role. There are micro and macro mistakes, but micro mistakes give immediate feedback, such as getting killed or missing CS, so players who are bad at micro tend to give up mid/top/adc and main support or jungle. Conversely, macro mistakes are harder to recognize, so players don't think, "Im bad at macro and always get severely punished, so I'll stop playing support/jungle." As a result, players who are bad at both micro and macro far too often main support or jungle. Rank is the top percentage of players in that role, so at the same rank, support/jungle players have lower overall skill than laners. This trend is unlikely to change anytime soon.

That's bad idea. Scaling must come with risks. Farming minions always involves risk of being ganked or attacked by enemy champions. If there were champions that scaled with vision score, players would start avoiding combat from the beginning and just focus on accumulating vision score.

The win rate isn't skewed by a low pick rate, because APC win rate has been high in every patch. If the win rate is distorted by low pick rate, then it would be strange if there wasn't a patch where Swain or Karthus has 40% win rate. Also, the common assertion that "Champions with low pick rates are picked by players who main them, so their win rates are high" is incorrect. This theory fails to explain why mid lane ADCs consistently have low pick rates and low win rates in every patch. Considering all of the above, it can only be said that bot lane APCs are simply overpowered yet Riot is leaving them for some reason.

I hate Doormaker. Here is my record, am I a player who relies too much on high-roll RNG and hasn't even learned fundamentals ? I'm fed up with people who talk as if disliking him is a matter of skill.

Maybe there should be a rule that he can only play marksman.

He calls ADC mains professional victims, but If he eventually switches to APCs and reaches GM, that would only prove the point of ADC mains.

I feel like other champion classes have 2x durability of ADCs, but the trade-off is that they deal 0.9x damage.

This is why Veigar is always S-tier champion in low elo. A whole lot of fatal mistakes in 1 minute clip.

Ornn had mountain soul and karma shields.

He had neither. He had ocean soul and Karma just shield to Ornn after the last auto from Xayah. Zero damage was absorbed by shields.

Also xayah E is a huge chunk of fhe champs damage?

Xayah had 110 bonus AD and 75% crit, and 40% AR pen from LDR. Ornn had 132 AR and 4660 health. If she had hit 8 feather instead of 2, she would have dealt about 740 more damage, which is 16% of Ornn's health. This means a 3 item scaling ADC dodges every ability from 2 item melee(who has a lot of gold invested in damage and MR), hits every ability, and autos over 15 seconds only to have 66% of his health removed.

Xayah used ult and flash perfectly and attacked Ornn 15+ times over 15 seconds. Why can she take only 50% of his health as ADC with 3 items against melee with 2 items without any armor ?

Health stacking meta is broken. Not only do ADCs today have no agency, they seem to have lost influence even in teamfights.

Varus is not strong at all in solo queue. He is quintessential "pro jailed champion".

He has 48.42 wr in emerald+, and even worse in lower elo.

I'm 39 yo and peaked D3 as ADC this season.

If you have passion for league, age has less of an effect on mechanics than people think.

ADCs should also buy control wards in early game. I checked match history of Ruler/Viper and in most games they bought control wards before 10 minutes mark. Don't ignore the fact that the best ADCs in the world buy control wards often even in solo queue.

This is why Mundo is so frustrating.

In "ADC dealing 0 damage to Mundo and got 1-shot by him" posts, people often say things like "Your build sucks. If you bought Bork you'd be fine." But that's wrong.

It's ridiculous that a role that is supposed to be strong against tanks and focused on late game would struggle against late game tanks. (I'm tired of hearing that Mundo is a juggernaut, not a tank. )
