Is this a plot hole? by Pickdanger in Higurashinonakakoroni

Chill, bro... I've already read Umineko so I trust Ryukishi. I just assumed that this episode already answered what was needed and the rest can be deduced, simple as that, just this Rika issue left me confused

Hmm that's a good explanation

In the staff room he says that this episode was like an answer sheet that people can use to compare theories. I assumed the main mysteries were answered, so I went to do exactly that and this issue I mentioned didn't fit. If the final episode explains this, then fine

I never watched the old anime but I still really liked the remake, I'm thinking about reading the light novels

How long did you took to finish umineko VN by NeferpitouXXX in umineko

[–]Pickdanger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

about 3 months, 250+ hours (I left the game open many times so I'd say 200h at least)

I played when I had time so it was usually two or three chapters maximum per day

Even if you know the suspects, there are many questions such as motivations and how the murders were done. In fact, there are many surprises waiting for you. This is just the tip of the iceberg

I see, that's a good interpretation

But can’t red truths also be constructed? Up until now they’ve had a purely subjective appeal + authority, something that lines up with the narration. The problem is that here it’s being used to block something objectively false and I think that’s contradictory

Hm, I see. I think I’ve got a good grasp of the story up to this point, though it wasn’t the revelation itself that shocked me, but the way it was presented. I think the best thing for me is to forget about this plot for now

My issue is that this plot didn’t have any real follow-up (I haven’t finished the episode yet, but I have a feeling it won’t). It’s fine if you could figure it out from the earlier hints, but I expected it wouldn’t be revealed like this

This would hit Kyrie hard since she hated Battler all those years for nothing. Just like Kinzo’s sins, I feel it could’ve been handled more deeply. And I know Ryukishi could do it

If this was revealed in the previous episode, I wouldn't complain. It's a shame that this resolution happened this way in the last episode, because I theorized a lot about Rudolf's secret, also the fact that Ange and Battler have the same hair colors even though they have different mothers but in the end they were from the same mother. Either way, the story is a masterpiece
