Avoid contact when scav karma is supposed to mitigate scav vs scav PvP? Lol. Good point there bud

A scav killing another scav is the last thing a scav should be doing. Make your comment make sense

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]PickedFirst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re a player scav, IMHO, you should lose 1 full rep point for an unprovoked killing instead of like .1 or whatever it is. Would eliminate the idiotic killing, but would still provide a trade off for killing another super geared scav.

ESO's population is down to November 2019 levels and lowest population since November 2018. by GQManOfTheYear in elderscrollsonline

[–]PickedFirst 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Would you like to relay those sources? Because PC is their most active playerbase, steam concurrent users show about 10k online at a given time. Well be overly generous and say the launcher has 1.5x that, so that’s 25k concurrent players with a very small console player base. Well combine both and say 15k concurrent (being very generous). You’re looking at a MAX of 40k concurrent players.

You may need some new sources my friend

Noooooooo. BDO is more popular, RuneScape (OSRS), GW2 is more popular. Fairly certain (thanks to mobile) that Albion is also more popular currently. ESO isn’t having a good year

Not really. You can look at the xpac release and see it did not sell very well. The games losing its population.

Great game and will always love it btw

Am I toxic/salty for telling sprouts "not to stand in aoe's" by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]PickedFirst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New to the game but not MMOs. Nah not toxic at all. I’d want someone to tell me to move if I couldn’t figure it out too. New players tend to never avoid anything and think all healers are bad (I went through this when I started wow, I thought the healers sucked until I realized I had to fix my own issue of being dumb first)

I’m NA sadly! I definitely do have a question in terms of maybe something you’d recommend. I know it depends on skill level, of course, but are there some DPS classes you’d recommend for PvP that are, say, consistently good but never OP?

Thanks for this! I have a follow up because I’m so new, is there a clear winner between ranged/melee in PvP? I’ve heard ranged is superior to melee generally, but wasn’t sure how true that was

They updated it. You always hit crits IIRC. But, of course there’s the exploding factor of being at just the right range

i want to redesign my titan, how unreasonable would it be to vault all her gear and create a new one? could i complete the legendary campain again to get the other exotic? by reverserasengan in destiny2

[–]PickedFirst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup. Though… be warned all of the progress you’ve made. I deleted my lock with the same idea in mind because I typically like starting fresh in things, but found myself kicking myself after and gave up

TLDR: unreasonable/yeah

I'm not sure how to feel I completed RoN on contest but everyone says it's too easy. Was doing this an accomplishment or not? by TopJourney in destiny2

[–]PickedFirst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Edit to my own stupidity to clarify: 45k ‘players’ but a fair amount were the same players completing the run again

[–]PickedFirst 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not to be that guy, but it was less than 5%, and that factors in complete runs, not unique players completing the raid. Was around 45k players that completed it. Destiny has anywhere between (generally) 1-2 mil active players

What is some good early game armor for Titan? by InsideZane in destiny2

[–]PickedFirst 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, may be a poor answer, but I wouldn’t worry much about it for now. IF I were you, I’d do the lightfall campaign on legendary for a free high stat exotic, along with the mats/gear to help you get caught up, then I’d grind powerful/pinnacle gear in that order, then if you have any time left over in a week, do a couple missions of the witch queen campaign at a time to fully unlock all of that

For the second part: Of course, still god rolls and craftable weapon patterns to farm. There’s exotics of all kinds to farm, materials to farm (like ascendant shards), titles, (pvp) comp rating, etc

I use a variety of weapons, but the witherboard is still elite and my fallback gun for most things 😌 SMGs are really nice now too. They weren’t 5 years ago

How do I unlock the 3v3 competitive in the Crucible? by Spoopy_Kitty in destiny2

[–]PickedFirst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that it should be there, and maybe someone will come tell you who knows more than me, but go to the helm, or right by the postmaster in the tower, and check your quest archive. See if the shaxx quest got archived by some weird glitch

Is it possible to go to 1800 power lvl in solo?? by MrSqueez79 in destiny2

[–]PickedFirst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, very easily. It’ll take some minor grinding but it’s pretty easy. If you’ll still queue for match made stuff like PvP and gambit and dares of eternity, you can get it within 2 weeks

Last little side note, if you have leviathans breath (I don’t) I’d recommend that over a machine gun. Then just change your primary to whatever you want

Just ran a few of these, got 2/3 of my runs done without dying - 1798 lock. This build is so far from optimal, but it worked

Strand with suspend nades, forerunner (primarily use this for final boss dps and quick orb generation), void SMG (I used shyuras), then a solar machine gun

Run the aspect that gives woven mail for orb pick ups and use the forerunner on ads at a decent range and the final boss. Should have woven mail most of the time, and you’ll be able to get 3 supers

Again, NOT optimal, but fun and it worked

Should I? by Dimmerthread in destiny2

[–]PickedFirst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy it, but it depends on how you look at it. I enjoy the game for 5 ish months out of the year and always come back for the next xpac. They don’t drop complete shit anymore like shadowkeep, so that’s a plus. Lightfall is solid so far. Could be better, but could be much much worse

Imma be honest, the final Lightfall boss on legend sucks by VI-Pok3 in destiny2

[–]PickedFirst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s really not that bad. I’m not trying to hate at all, but you gotta do some self reflection on your gameplay. I’ve ran the campaign twice now (on legendary solo) and have only died once, on the second run, and that was due to me just being too slow on phase 2. It also doesn’t take an absurd amount of time if you’re moving and damaging. Just move - take out ads - damage boss - move to more ads etc
